So it's no secret that the Castlevania series has some of the best compositions in all of video games, but perhaps the gift that keeps on giving is the fact that every rendition by every artist/orchestra/band I've ever seen is always unique. No two renditions ever sound alike, it's baffling and beautiful.
Me too! It was the first video game I ever played, on an old decommissioned cell phone at like 6 years old. Don't ask me how it got there lol. It sparked my love of gaming, and more recently, my love of the Castlevania series.
@@flyinyoku3543 6 years old! you started your gaming life directly on hard mode :-) I saw Castlevania's ad on a comic book magazine, but didn't get to play it until later.
@@MemeinAndDreamin true dat. It had some okay ideas and sick animation but the dialogue was soooo bad. The night it came out I had finished reading Salem's Lot and I was super freaked out by the vampires in it so I wound up watching Castlevania to calm myself down, which is very contradictory
@@MemeinAndDreaminI think the problem with many adaptations is that they copy the whole plot of a game. Which makes it boring, but also keep the videogame essence
I still remember looking at the cover of this game and thinking Dracula looked more like a vampire version of the Joker. I still do, but awesome game nonetheless! And good music too!
Thanks for playing, recording and sharing! Child hood memories! One of my most famous tunes from one of the best games I played on my good old MSX 2 console. The game that gave me shiffers when it started; at the intro you saw the main character enter the castle, with this spokey music playing while the clouds partially covered the moon and you saw some bats flying... Frightening but amazing at the same time. And last but not least kudos to Kinuyo Yamashita who was an intern at Konami; she is the music artist who composed the songs of the game! Great concert! These arrangements are the same as Perfect Selection Dracula New Classic released in CD by Konami (author). Does anybody have the score of this arrangments? I am interested :)
VAMPIRE KILLER is the best music ever for any video game. I can't believe an orchestra is doing this .. do they not have anything better to do than play old Nintendo compositions.
well... you can find a lot of pop-culture concerts like these. Fans will purchase tickets to these concerts and go see them, and the orchestras will keep doing them. What even is your point? you say Vampire Killer's the best videogame piece ever, then bash the orchestra for playing it...
I don't like it vampire killer was passable but wicked child is supposed to fast and energetic not so dramatic and slow Edit speed it up to x2 speed it sounds better

But this version was made years before this arrangement, at least I have this studio version from Castlevania Classics I think it is called?
Regarding the uniqueness of each rendition - 8-bit chiptones leave a lot up to the imagination ;)
the best video games compositions are of silent hill saga

Castlevania circle of the moon my first game!
If they ever make a CastleVania movie, this should be in the soundtrack just as it is performed here.
there's already a Netflix series, homie
and unfortunately said series decided to ignore the series’ entire musical history save for one 3 minute scene
@@mattnoyes6513 Yeah and it barely has anything to do with the games and totally abandoned the music lol

imagine that instead someone was playing castlevania and the OST was orchestral instead?
honestly I could imagine an orchestral hack of castlevania 1.

they should of had some guy/girl speed run castlevania for the background
*should've or *should have, never "should of"
Check out bit brigade
favorite orchestral rendition so far of both of these track, beautiful
Holy crap this is one to one copy of the perfect selection. Nice.

OH yes
This is so much better than the version performed at Castlevania The Concert, with that awful off-key electric guitar.

SCOUT IS DEAD
Why I can only give one like to this video? 🥺
I found this so easy to masturbate to the tissue was already stuck to my dick.
I want to like it but it sounds so damn weak in comparison to any other rendition of these songs -1
is castlevania or tom & jerry goth version???
Callese vieja piruja

Edit speed it up to x2 speed it sounds better
1.5 sounds great too
What do you mean ''supposed to''?
No offense to anyone who likes this but this sounds like a Disney song. Castlevania is not Disney.
No it doesn't.
Why make such an arrangement? it also sucks
