A 100 million dollar tax evasion scheme by Trump has him claiming it's just savvy business and a smart approach. But in reality, it's a blatant disregard for the law and a twisted definition of 'smart.' Despite his failures, only his die-hard supporters seem to applaud his criminal behavior.
Investigative duo Brayan Cohen Taylor and former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner delved into this issue after reports from The New York Times and ProPublica revealed Trump's staggering 100 million dollars in unpaid taxes. Glenn clarified, 'Tax law can be dense and confusing, but here are the basics.' In the early 2000s, Donald Trump embarked on building a 92-story glass-encased skyscraper in Chicago, securing numerous loans from Deutsche Bank and other sources.

Then use a tax loophole to declare the building worthless, hence not pay tax on it ($651 million profit after tax), not pay your creditors (legal loophole - worthless building remember), shuffle ownership of the buulding through fancy paperwork, declare another loss of $168 million on the same (worthless?) building,, get another tax refund of $73 million.
