You can get 2 SRs in the 2024 Japanese boxes. Only fixed odds for a box are 1 ACE, 4 RRs, and 3 ARs. SRs are 1 to 2 per box. So if you get 1 SR there's always a chance for no more SRs or additionally an SR, SAR, or UR. I've gotten quite a few with an SR and an SAR in the same box.
You’ve got to think of it as 1 Japanese box retails for $30 and the retail for a English box is supposed to be $160 so 1 English box is the equivalent to 5-6 Japanese so you are guaranteed at least 1 big hit maybe 2 so the hit rates are actually better in Japanese
this, it seems like Rev doesnt understand the actual pull rates/statistics around pulling japanese vs. english. it's definitely better pulls in Japanese

Japanese actually is 35 now and English is 143+sales tax+shipping depending on were you live I used to live in oregon saved so much money compared to Cali

I can't believe the next set is already coming out in just a couple weeks! It feels like it wasn't too long ago that we were opening Temporal Forces.
The artwork on the cards in this set look amazing
may be it is a coincidence but all the boxes I've seen so far have had 90% the same hits. There are enough cards in this set where there should be more variety.
it's not coincidence, Japanese boxes have guaranteed pull rates, it's 6 holos rares, 4 ex's, 3 IR, 1 SR or better (sometimes 2 SR or 1 SAR), 1 ACE. The beauty is within each japanese box you will never have dupes. so the 3 IRs you pull will never be the same, nor will the ex's or holos, etc.

@@cloudarya90 nah I mean exact cards, I know about the pull rates. Also, I have pulled 2 of the same art rare in a single Japanese box actually😅 it was the snow set that was part of paldea evolved, forgot its name.

@Pokerev or anyone that might know I had a question about Japanese 151 or any cards in general I guess. I was opening a 151 Japanese box and I have some reverse holo pokeball cards that have a line of pokeballs that are cut off a little bit and it makes the one row repeat instead of alternating. Would that classify as an error?

Carmine (SIR) is my favourite from this set, but honestly a lot of interesting cards in Mask of Change :)

U can man to man I'm sure he didn't just get lucky I'm sure he had a lot of work and time involved to get to we're he is now plus he really knows his shit about Pokemon and what he does that's also why lots of people watch his videos myself included cause he does know his shit and we learn a lot of info on Pokemon
I know it looks fun but there is so much behind the scenes work that you don’t see. And in the beginning you need to be able to edit your own videos until you can afford an editor.

I wish English boxes/packs were more like the Japanese’s ones. Love the complete misses on some packs but bangers in the others

It's always nostalgic for the person or generation that starts collecting in that Pokemon generation

Nah not really Pokémon f*cked up with Scarlet & Violet horrible Pokémon generation tbh. I miss the Vmax & Nostalgic cards. Maybe the best set for this gen was Pokémon 151 that’s pretty much it. Why do think Scarlet & Violet prices went down cause no one is buying them lol
@@lewisgraham9117 right and i agree right now, but i think in time people will give this generation it’s props. especially w 151, easily the best set of the generation. I just think people are so hung up on nostalgic pokémon like the ogs so new pokémon doesn’t interest them but they will eventually i think
@@lewisgraham9117 look at Sw&Sh. Everyone hated it until about the time Evolving Skies came out. People always hate the first sets in a nee generation. The gimmicks change, or they bring something back, like they brought back EX and Ace Spec. It happens every new generation.

You were right in the Lost Origin videos. You didn’t come right out and say it, but these S&V sets are poopy. Artwork isn’t bad but just odd choices and combos. Gotta have a few bum sets to round it out I guess…

I’ve been diving into presale on the Japanese sets lately and coasting into the English for a couple reasons. First of all the QC on Japanese is superior. All 4 of the gengar I got from English temporal were “OC”. Second is price point and it seems like the presale boxes have the variety of chase cards before the duplicates start rolling in. Could just be my experience though.

Hi Poke, I am a small and new content creator and I just recently got interested in pokemon cards, thanks to your videos. I only have 19 cards, and my best card is only a Gem mint Psa-10 Chien-Pao EX. Ps: You are my fav youtuber. I also am trynna get atleast 10 more cards

You can buy this new set in EU i think around 100euro per booster box, which is a OK price for it.

I ordered 2 boxes from a Japanese reseller. Halfway through the.1st box and I pulled the Carmine SAR. First.box.magic 😂
That ace spe is good and have a nice,if not in this set they have two ace spec and every full art version mask ogerpon
