The dragon rush at 8:44 ,after the first was tech'd? This is why throws are, situationanlly, the best move in any fighting game. So simple, so big brained. I love this patch so much, I've been waiting to see the madness of competitive Spark loops
It just sucks that Trunks's combos are so easy to drop, even his normal combo structure its hard to know whether or not you can do the usual combo ender or if you have to heavily cut on normals. Its very finnicky so even though OB mains him I can see how he would mess up. Its not like the fusions where stuff just works and does everything
@@doot_slayer its not necesarily that its inconsistent but its just very easy to reach heavy hitstun decay with trunks and it doesnt feel great, notice how many players will end a combo into j.2h jc j.h into assist into dr or 236, beacuse too many times a good combo wont give you time for a 236L
He is insanely strong. His level 3 is an insane mixup tool that leads to more insane mix, his roundstart is now insane with 5s, his combos in general are best in class. Hes nuts
@@Butterfree_hater his post level 3 mix got nerfed. His EX flip is a lot more linear and moves slower and less unpredictably. You can still try to go for float mix
Hey I found the Zamasu point route with a team. I just used the start of your old Tod and the only thing that changed was it’s now ex orbs that works better at the start. You can basically do the old TOD for half a bar and spark. But it’s not like it matters since his meter gain is back
did the event managers fuck up the positions of the cams and names? because like OB usually plays teengohan, hit, trunks and yasha plays gogeta,vegito,17 but now its the exact opposite (ok yeah they changed it like 2mins in)
I’ve been away from pro play videos since A21 dropped, but it seems way more interactive than it was. Less downtime while you’re getting combo’d, more choices out of blockstring, good frame data for mixups… i’m enjoying it much more than seeing two keflas clash for 30 seconds at the start of the match.
It's conditioning. Because you can change the amount of aerials you can do before you land you can set up the opponent to always crouch after x amount of hits and mix him up that way with either an early low or a throw. Seyhan actually did this a lot in a set Aco reviewed not too long ago, you can check it out
@@murilotheodoro5025 his low is 27 frames lol… the opponent can just default block high and react. His only mental stack is his grab and guard breaker however neither doesn’t really force the opponent to block low which makes the IADs useless or possibly less than useless as his grab will condition jumps and jumps out can potentially escape IADs
@@XyLo2517its probably BEACUSE his low is 27 frames that they go for IAD, not beacuse it'll open up necesarily but its a way to catch someone jumping and resetting preassure to continue staggering, trying to keep the oponent from jumping and that way setting up crossups, the grab or the low when the camera is coming down from a caught jump. Its just quicker fodder for preassure.
One of the best players with sparking trunks and all the bars couldn't get it done. Trunks my have drip but it weighs him down. Super dash him in the air and teleport out of his shining slash. Also the luck always falls on vegito players side due to his tool kit.
Of course trunks is the best character he’s THE DRINK
A beverage of sorts
Such a hype set, great commentary too. Great vid
That interaction at 5:00 is an oki option. The 2nd L if timed right covers all tech except delay.

Interesting, I thought hitstun just did OB dirty but Trunks having inconsistent combo routes is a lot worse

Tournament play on this patch looks so crazy
Wait a second did you say Trunks is one of the best characters in the game??? I might have to install this.
Yep, he's now the Drink

OB the Hit god 😎 that spark combo was cool

Are you not going to finish the crossover commentaries? Was hoping to see another Suiruuydan one. Excited to see new patch footage either way though
I wanted to finish it but now that it's the previous version of the game, I most likely wont.

the matches between these two are always tight.
New patch new mix! Lets goooooo!
Bruh. Hex. Spark canceling and crazy buffs in this patch is wild. That last fight was a choking point for Ob. Oof
Glad you showed this game instead of that murder that was a grand finals lol
Ayyyye
ChokeBAssassin 😭😭😭 I was really rooting for that Trunks
Yo aco what lobby do you play in? I just got a PC and would love to run into you
SCARY TEAMS

Hey, well, that clash was very very funny.
That Kefla clash was literally scripted my guy, lol
Can someone please explain why hit players go for IAD overheads in the corner? He has a 27 frame low, so everyone’s blocking high by default
When they actually go for the low, or for a drargon rush, the opponents won't know it's happening if you use the IAD overheads more beforehand.

The worst time to experience the new patch drops
those time loops alone make me wanna throw hit somewhere on my team. y’all think kid buu, hit, janemba sounds clean?
OB could have raw lv3 after he messed up too. rip
Mr. Alcoholic
Classic case of OB doing too much.
Before I watch I think Yasha will win
Guess what ?
Walk of shame loll
