I don't think like that, I always chose products that are not made in China when it comes to my makeup, clothes, etc. I know that China has no strict regulations when it comes to ingredients what they can use in these products, especially when it's made for overseas sales. I think it depends on if you have tougher skin or not. But it’s always good to be careful with what your buying on Temu. I personally only bought that skin care because it was going viral for a bit

Here is a quote from the official page :) 「The ingredients (except certain colors) and labeling of cosmetics, such as many perfumes, makeup, moisturizers, shampoos, hair dyes, face and body cleansers, and shaving preparations do not require FDA approval. However, under the law, cosmetics must not be "adulterated" or "misbranded.”」 What does “adulterated” or “misbranded” mean when it comes to this context? In the most basic definitions I can point to, For a cosmetic to be “Adulterated” means to be contaminated. Merriam-Webster defines it as the following “to corrupt, debase, or make impure by the addition of a foreign or inferior [or dangerous] substance or element.” For a cosmetic to be misbranded is exactly as it sounds; if the packaging of the product is misleading or false, improper, or lacks required information (like ingredients, manufacturers, etc.) These rules apply not only to domestic (US) cosmetics, but cosmetics which are imported to the US! While this shows that the FDA does not regulate what cosmetic company’s can do, they do ensure safety. I haven’t been able to find any articles of chemicals in gege bear’s products, so if you can help me find one I will read it! Never heard of makeup worldwide need an FDA clearance ! Besides all makeup even the organic natural claimed ones still have chemicals. What you need to just watch out for is whether they are animal tested or not ... but Makeup FDA approval never ever been there.

Isn’t the first eyeshadow palette almost IDENTICAL to the Romand eye shadow palette ? Like the Korean brand I mean. The only thing that has changed was the logo imprinted on one of the colors .. It’s not an accusation but just to explain to you! No hate ofc ! Also the Judydoll dupe has identical packaging compared to the Korean brand Lilybyred’s Tangle jelly lip balm ! I understand that vendors sell certain compact bottles/packaging for other companies but the concept being so similar is shady lol Have a good day :)
Yup, they are cheap sketchy chinese knockoffs. I was thinking about buying a $5 3 pack of the gege bear knockoffs of the flortte (a reputable Chinese brand!) jelly tint sticks but nahh. At 10:11 there's Dasique blush quad knockoff. Shameless😅

@@sleepinginsomniac6175 first of all they aren’t FDA approved and they dont list their ingredients on their website and i saw this tiktok of girl using those swabs that show lead on their pallet and it was positive but truth is i cant find this text i read bout them using arsenic in these pallets maybe they payed to delete it (the text)
@@sleepinginsomniac6175I know this is two weeks late, but I think it’s just a rumor. More over I can’t imagine a single reason why arsenic would be near makeup product. Arsenic is commercially used in ship building, semiconductors, insecticides and glassmaking. If there is arsenic contamination in gege bear then there are bigger problems to worry about than just the minuscule amounts that would’ve ended up in some makeup (ie: water contamination)
Chinese products are very good but I hope you should not buy products like Gege bear or Sweet mint, because in Vietnam we have confirmed that brands like these are all low quality products and can cause skin cancer if used for a long time. Choose better brands even though they will be more expensive.
