- In this video i will be taking about the marketing strategy for the upcoming movie TRANSFORMERS ONE released in cinemas September 20th 2024
TRANSFORERS ONE PLOT SYNOPSIS:
This is the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.

I watched that Iacon Race clip and seeing Arcee and Ironhide in the audience made me smile. That was cool. After all, it makes sense to have a bunch of cameos in this movie because you need to have a bunch of characters in the background, so I'm glad they're actual characters.
I really like all the cameos of characters we're familiar with, and one thing I got from that clip is how the class difference between the Miners and the Higher Class of Cybertron is a very significant theme of the movie. I really love that they chose to make Orion and D-16 both Miners, which is a change I prefer as it allows both of them to relate to each other on a personal level, compared to the Aligned Continuity having Optimus be a data clerk/librarian and Megatron being a gladiator which didn't really make me buy them as former friends since their experiences didn't necessarily correlate with any idea of them forming a strong friendship. That's why I believe the fallout between Optimus and Megatron in this movie will feel especially heartbreaking and emotional to watch
And In the next scene with the ladder we can see Red Alert and Wheeljack!
Hotshot and bulkhead need to come to the race

Prime and Megs are the definition of an iconic duo

For Hasbro and Paramount to organise such early fan screenings really shows how much faith they have in TF One.
It's a stark contrast to RotB not having much marketing leading up to its release. Which makes sense in hindsight, especially in light of learning that the early screenings had many character building scenes (e.g. Arcee & Wheeljack's relationship, Optimus vs Transit, Scourge's villain arc). Those early rave reviews for RotB were not of the final cut.
Coming from someone who’s also seen the film, I DEFINITELY understand why they are showing it so early. I was shedding tears and cheering along with my whole theater. This really is one of if not the best transformers film and paramount put their soul into it. The tv spots/clips coming out are mostly trying to appeal to kids of course, it really doesn’t do the movie full justice but that’s all I’m going to say.👀
Don’t spoil anything but how much humor is in the movie? And is it at least GOOD humor or more childish?

I'm hoping this is a huge success/Big refresh for the brand like Beast wars, Armada and the 07 film were.
As someone who saw early screenings of this movie I can confidently say it’s up there with the movie from ‘86
I'm hyped for it. Very nice that there are intended deep cut cameos for the old fans watching.
It does feel like the buzz for the film has activated a little early. And it seems like you can piece together the plot from the Trailers if you want to.
Hey its a transformers movie that you can appropriately take young kids to see that's a big change in direction.
When it comes to the movies, I only watch trailers and that’s really it. The tv spots get repetitive and I don’t really have the attention span to listen to small remixes of the trailer music or see the same clips again but re-edited differently.
I only really rewatch the trailers, get an idea of what the film will be like and set bare minimum expectations, and just go in and enjoy the film.
Love me some Inside Out 2. However, I won't be surprised if Transformers One pulls an upset and wins best animated feature at the Oscars
@@AnimJourney-v2b as much as I would love for Transformers One to win best animated feature, unfortunately Pixar tends to get that win (although they haven’t since 2020 so there’s that). Not that Inside Out 2 wouldn’t deserve to win because it’s also great, but One winning would kinda show the general public that Transformers in film has evolved greatly

I feel like they could have marketed just like Inside Out 2. But it just feels like sometimes they don’t want to all the time, but at the same time I feel like they did kinda spoiled a lot and I could like tell which one is the ending of the movie.

I spotted Ironhide and Sideswipe in the crowd scene. There's a cool looking green one up there too. This movie and all future TF movies of this kind will be amazing! Sign me up.

this movie felt way to easy to see, when i showed up to the theater i thought that we were screwed but the lady told me to calm down and there were WAY MORE then enough seats left

I watched the premiere as well. Honest speaking I didn't have high hopes but it did surprise me. It's a very nice origin story. It's for certain different from the G1 but it definitely is a necessary reboot. Kids around me in the theatre are fond of it, dads are happy, moms and wives are like "I know why you like it."

Im so excited for this movie
Having seen the movie, all I'll say is they're hiding quite a lot from the marketing right now, and for good reason. If they show even a tiny bit more than what you've seen, it gives away stuff. I think they did a good job maintaining surprises. Also, the movie is absolutely phenomenal and lives up to the hype. Can't wait for more people to see it.
I love the animation. Storyline is where skepticism comes in. But the animators did a wonderful job as far as I can tell. They are going all over the place though. Rise of the Beast and this. It could be assumed that this should be a part of Rise of the Beast since it came out less than a year and half before this release.
According to G1, Optimus Prime and Megatron were not friends so we cant even associate with the original show.
As one of the animators on the movie, I can tell you the story is awesome, I had so much faith in the director and his choices and I've never been as excited to have been attached to a film that has rocked my socks as much as this one.

when the movie was announced all the people I know were assuming the movie would be trash. I feel like the early screenings and advertisements is to give people hope.

UK Region are really strict about age rating (BBFC) to make it kid friendly “even it going to be rated PG - age 8 or over”

4:03 I wouldn’t mind these international release dates as long as the day the film comes out there were fan screenings for those who don’t want to be spoiled for 3 weeks before their release date
Having a midnight screening that parents aren't gonna want to bring their small children to would be ideal so that us slightly more grown up children can watch the film. Or better still, sell tickets through a different vendor rather than the cinemas themselves so it's a bit more exclusive
The simple option is just release it during the summer holiday considering there are already so many early screenings

still a couple weeks away from the movie and ive seen it twice. this screams that the paramount is confident that people will love this movie. this movie is GREAT. im very biased towards DOTM but this is objectively the best transformers movie ever. visually stunning, characters you care about, and a lot of heart.

It's a breath of fresh air to see Hasbro & Paramount feel confident in a Transformers movie. I wish they felt the same way towards Sonic 3.

I've been keeping myself far from the spoilers besides the two trailers and i'm excited for the film.
Unfortunately my friend got spoiled since facebook groups have been posting scenes and spoilers but also after IGN hosted one, people spoke loudly of it irl (i'm not sure if they had to sign NDA's.) which is something I kinda feared when it comes to these early screenings. I personally don't like the early screenings because there is that left out feeling that everyone gets to talk about something but others have to wait months in advance. However, seeing everyone hyping this movie is making me both excited and nervous since I don't want to get my hopes up

I only watch the 1st and sometimes the 2nd trailers for movies, i don't watch the Final or clips from the movie as at that point you're seeing too much.
Don't watch/read review's prior, I'd rather form my own opinions and comment after I've seen the movie, this looks good and the 2nd trailer really made it look a lot better as the first trailer was very juvenile and yeah i get thts their audience but TF and the storyline they're going for lends itself to having a more serious tone so I'm excited to see the balance, i don't think it's going to be the best transformer movie, bold claim indeed as DARK OF THE MOON Is still my favourite an excellent example of alternate/fictional history.

The war for and fall of cybertron games are proof that it is absolutely better without humans. Showing heavy focus on the war before and after is way more interesting then handful of bots killing or being killed on earth where nothing really interesting or actually smart happens since war already basically done and bots are already near extinction

I heard it gets darker as the movie progresses. I already bought tickets to see it, treated my niece and nephew, too. But I really don’t like what they did to Bee’s voice. I like Keegan but Bee needs a voice that emphasizes youthfulness. He really sounds like a childish old man.
Would you still be allowed to preview the film if you chose not to sign the NDA? I never did like the idea of those kind of "You Can't Do This!" documents.
From what i've seen / heard many early screenings did not make people sign an NDA. In the UK however they made us sign one. Regardless even if they didn't make us sign one, I still would not spoil anything about this film until the embargo was released.

This movie is more of a joke if anything serious which robs of the emotional scenes. Call me a hater but I’m just not bias towards new films, ESPECIALLY transformers. For starters 2/3 of this movie is just joke after joke after joke it feels like a comedy movie than it goes dark out of knowhere but it doesn’t even change right it just happens lol and someone’s motives to turn evil feel so simple. You know some characters are meant to be taken serious and elite but when they show up on the big screen they are taken as jokes and weak. The power scaling is absolute BUNS in some scenes lol like wow they gained all this skill out of knowhere😂. Visually it looked pretty good but the faces are just not it. It’s a cameo fest in some scenes but they don’t actually play a big role in the movie it just feels like Bayverse where they are shown once and poof gone. The third act carries this movie by A LOT and it’s not just because of the action but the tone that was set which made it good. Wish it was like that the entire movie lol. Overall I give this movie a 6.5-7/10 which isn’t a bad a rating but I see so many reviews calling it a 10/10. Some giving it that review BECAUSE of the cameos alone which baffles me. Like bro they didn’t do crap. 3RD ACT CARRIES.
Only seen a few of the trailers and while i applaud them for moving as far away from the Micheal bay transformers designs amd and explosions every 2 seconds philosophy, transformers one still doesn't look good.. looks goofy with weird robot designs, the obligatory celebrity voice actors and looks like its for kids, instead of the people that will actually care about transformers aka us adults ( not like kids are buying the figures as much as adults are afterall) maybe some day we'll get a good live action transformers movie, (especially for the beast wars characters)
