Rourke will find his groove, maybe should sit him for a game though. This is really proving that playing American football as a QB does not translate to Canadian football success. CFL teams would be wise to Draft the best Usports QBs and let them start some games. It works every time, but that must be a fluke?
For many years, there have _only_ been US born and trained QBs in the league. Brad Sinopoli, was a QB in University... but switched to receiver in the CFL since the _American_ QBs were simply better. *Shrugs* There aren't many places for people to learn how to play Football in Canada compared to USA... thus the disparity.
Can we stop the obsession of talking about Rourke every 15 seconds? he's not good enough to deserve the fake praise. Rourke has throw 300% more interceptions than TDs since his return... By the way... NOT ONE TD in 2 games. how many losses before the league must eat crow? This is not talent! This is biased propaganda Brady Oliveira was the Most Outstanding Player in 2022... He's Canadian.... He was the Most Outstanding Canadian Player as well. Rourke was the third best QB in the league that season... that's not Outstanding! that's a gifted, undeserved title

I’ll concede there has been a bit too much hype this year, (granted he hasn’t played much the past 2 years), but after 2022 it was entirely justified. Dude was on pace to obliterate the passing yards & completion percentage season records before an injury in Regina sidelined him for 1/2 the year, (team was 8-1 with him as the starter as well).
As a Vancouverite I'm so glad the Lions lost to ottawa rough riders, I hope they lose all their games and stop blocking Vancouver from getting an NFL team. That's 5 losses in a row now so the hope of losing out all the way to the end is alive. Nobody in Canada's largest cities cares about the cfl. Bring on the NFL in Vancouver, we're ready!

Rourke is good enough for the NFL. Undrafted, CFL, lack of NFL imagination and NFL pressure to not make a mistake worked against him.
