It's the morning after watching this movie and I'm here to give thumbs up to everyone involved in making this movie. The storyline is refreshingly different. There was no telling how it would end. The acting was great. One thing that impressed me was how the lead kept changing her wig like how every regular wig wearer does. Her body, her attitude, it all fit perfectly into her role. As a Christian girl, I'm glad the movie did not portray sex as equal to love. Y'all did a great job!

I really enjoyed Healing Desires because you can tell that so much time & care was put into the writing and I learned here again that some women will endure a great deal & as much as go to the ends of the earth to uphold tradition by staying in a unfaithful, non supportive , toxic, loveless marriage but I appreciate Scarlet's character for doing & wanting better for herself. African families need to model kindness for their sons and African cultures need to normalise it. Because some of our cultures ridicule men who show tenderness to their wives, saying the wife has wrapped the husband around her fingers. And the women perpetuate upon their daughters- and sisters-in-law the cruelty they were shown by their own in-laws. We need to get past toxic African masculinity.

Etim, Scarlet and the granny killed their parts 💯. They delivered 💯. The granny delivered very very well. It added a different dimension to the movie. She delivered every part so naturally.
When you marry to these kind of men, know that you will never ever be happy in life. They are very selfish, cruel, controlling and they don’t care about your feelings, well being and your mental health 😢. And you should not give them another chance to be you, this is a very big lesson to both men and women. But the moment I saw 👀 my favourite actor Daniel I became excited 😆, because he is the one of my best.
