That's how modding works for this game. For new dinosaurs to be modded into the game, they have to rig the model to an already-existing model and database in the game. Essentially making them all reskins with either good animations or so-so ones, depending on the effort put in and rigging success. So what you described is exactly what's happening. They rigged this onto Indoms base model so it could be spawned into the game.
Man I wonder why the Jurassic movies did not make ultimasaurus to the Jurassic movies but only old toys and games but mode but not real one but I wonder why won’t they add him/her in the movies but I hope that ultimasaurus will be in next movie called Jurassic World rebirth in July (2025)
