Why does everyone call him cute? It seems kind of juvenile. He is a charismatic, handsome man. When I think of cute it is a word that is used for a little, fluffy dog. He has star quality. I just wish he was in more shows like Horatio Hornblower and the Forsyte Saga. Those were my favorites.
His Welsh accent is almost undetectable compared to how it was 10 or 15 years ago. His accent was much closer to his character in Very Annie Marie at that time circa 2001 and that film also features an unknown Matthew Rhys.
Perhaps Rosie should understand that this language was being spoken in Britain before the Romans arrived in 84 A.D. Perhaps show some respect to its senior and ancient beauty, and to Ioan’s identity and culture, instead of rattling off some gibberish mockery? Made her look a fool.
