    Thank you,sir,for the valuable information.
If I may, just one point of criticism:the “background” music is distracting and infringing upon the sound of your voice and the precious information it is carrying.
    Gratitude for imparting your knowledge

So are you saying that a sac player should be inhaling through their nose and not there most while playing ?

Great video with some really good information, here. I picked up the soprano saxophone at the beginning of January. I wasn't having a problem squeaking on the low notes until a bit less than two weeks ago. I've found that when I go into the low notes, if I move my jaw forward somewhat, the squeaking pretty much disappears. I'm using Royal 2.5 reeds. Should I invest in higher quality reeds?

Thanks for your comment James! What mouthpiece are you using with those reeds? Your reed strength and mouthpiece tip opening need to match well. The wider the opening the softer the reed and vice versa. Rico Royal reeds are a good brand, but I personally prefer Vandoren. Check out my Ultimate Saxophone Buyers Guide for my mouthpiece and reed recommendations for Soprano for different levels: www.saxophonemasterclass.com/guide

@@SaxophoneMasterclass Other than the mouthpieces that came with the sops which are cheap 4Cs I think, I have a Yamaha 5C and an Otto Link Tone Edge. I' m going to check out your PDF right now.
