I can't play more than 2 or 3 games before I need to stop. The complete lack of understanding for strategy and game mechanics in this game astounds me.

My teams never push. As Ninetails I sometimes go on that mission but always alone. Just few days ago I successfully used Regieleki to do 2 KOs immediately after stealing it and I scored full points in their outermost (2nd base after first was destroyed earlier) top base too. God's my witness.
It takes a lot of experience and a long ranged Pokemon to pull this out. Ninetales is unique because my Blizzard can push.
Other Pokemon that could create mayhem would be a Sylveon that is "fed" or a Mew. Realistically however, against a half decent team, only Ninetails.
This is just one of the reasons I play Ninetails so much. There are tricks one learns with time and if I die it's hardly a loss as top has everyone else defending it. I've never failed but I have retreated against powerful tanky Pokemon or a whole enemy team defending.
Cris it’s so common happens every game to me it’s honestly horrendous people don’t realise how much the bottom Regis actually help and even if you do get eleki don’t try to push because you can throw very hard
I wish people did the same for drednaw in old map

I think a good rule of thumb is:
Unless you have a level advantage/good ult for pushing eleki (Delphox, Blastoise, etc.), pushing usually isn't the play
Also please remember when people defeat eleki there is a VERY high chance they will push top in retaliation, so keep a lookout.
also doing the last regibot is a bait if Ray time is near
@@axeavenger Dred is the meta back then. It was, until the new map when 'Rotom' got buffed into Regieleki and also scoring was meta until Ray turned into Zap 2.0
Pushing the eleki into the tier 2 goal makes perfect sense if you have Blastoise surf, mew surf, Snorlax Block, etc to easily force the enemy back
Trur but cris died and would not reach in time unless team stayed behind regi and waited and slowbro backed out too
People just don't see numbers before pushing they just want to push mindlessly

yeah the slowbro turned around & left, and greninja's reaction was to dive hard and dump a unite. Delphox unites too and then Eldegoss.
To be fair they did some decent damage, but the whole other team rotated top and massacred them. A good reminder that coordination is everything in Unite.
It really depends on the team, of course you could take regileiki for bait sand score at bottom path.
imo the best general advice i know is "avoid pushing after the 5-minute-mark" unless the goal is the one that needs 80
5:40 Actually I think both your teams and you made a mistake, there you preferred to farm altarias instead of start bottom objective right away 🤔 enemies arrived when regi had little HP so you could've ended it before that
But you're missing the whole point. If his team didn't just go die trying to push Eleki then they could have secured Registeel without any problems
@@7BlackMamba7 Yep, didn't deny that fact. But it's soloQ you can't control what ur team does, only what u do. And in my opinion, farming instead of starting a free objective is a mistake

Or who knows if Cris pushed together they would big win the fight and scored tons.
But honestly this meta shifting from scoring to zapdos 2.0 so I think more important thing is farm a lot and overlevel enemies at Ray fight.
@@Kodiwolfy I think the best bet you can do though is too play with your team. When defending a goal on your own you better only do it against the likes of dodrio, sableye as stopping their tempo play just ruins their plan.
I've pretty much stopped trying to push Eleki while playing in Solo Que. You can't really depend on them to push reliably as a team. Even if they have their unites, you still probably aren't going to get it into the goal.
I’m just throwing this out there. They all died top and then you go bot and start the chain deaths again. You aren’t blameless in this “throw”. Then you check a bush mid when your team isn’t there yet with no vision on the other team.
Usually its really only a good move to push Eleki if you’ve got at least like three ults more than the opponent, otherwise the enemies are just gonna keep respawning cause the respawn timers are literally a joke in this game.

@@anshyadav2119 Early game it's just 4 to 10 sec. At the end of the game it's 20 to 30 sec.
My team just took down 4 or 3 of them & they just keep respawning too quickly. We had to abandon the Regiloki.
To be honest, originally, when the new map came out, Regieleki was really important because Rayquaza wasn't the instant score it is now. I still think Regieleki is more important than the bottom Regis now, but its definitely not worth pushing to the max every single time

This is unrelated, but the Exp. Share Eldy reminded me that yesterday, I played as trick Hoopa with that item and I laned with a Machamp and long story short, I managed to help him get to level 9 at 7:00, and 14-15 around 2:00, snowballed the rest of the match, and I was proud of it.

Unless your team has unites, strategy, or comms, pushing 2nd regi is almost always suicide especially in soloq. Unless youre gardevoir or delphox and can nuke everyone defending at once, its better to steal the jungle or rotate to bot objective and take that.

An aspect that makes me mad is people in my team trying to push to 2nd base and failing, but then the enemy team tries to push and succeds, a majority of times it really shows the skill of these people...
However the times where the enemy counter pushes into your second base and feeds your whole team is on another level of satisfying
And half of those times were the enemies succeed on the push, they start getting cocky for no reason, end up dead by Ray, and resulting on their loss... Aaaah the spice of soloQ, no matter how bleak it looks you can always win, you just have to hope the enemies are as dumb as your allies tend to be lol

They start to invade (even though it's a 1v3, for example), score a few points just to die immediately, get too distracted when Ray starts, etc
Pushing eleki After the 5 minute Mark Is Just useless, I don't know why people doesn't understand that the jumping platform gives way too much of an advantage while defending
Regieleki in solo que is important like either u can push or use it as a distraction to score bottom goal
As soon as regileki is taken I’m either in their jungle on the birds or at bottom taking the other regi, unless we have a huge level lead and some good push options like block snorlax, etc.
Also another thing that frustrates me is people who will abandon ray to go fight regileki .
Tbh. You’re using shoving blastoise. If you were present, your team could have very easily gotten Leki into the 2nd goal zone. I do it a lot with Horn Leech Trevenant. Getting rid if the entire top lane before the 5 minute mark is a huge advantage. Because your team can focus very heavily on bottom lane, and use 2nd regileki to pressure and backdoor. I think the main reason they lost it isn’t because it’s not a viable strat, but because they were missing a CC tank

I don't think Regieleki push doesn't matter a lot since Rayquaza exists. There are games where the enemy team gets Rayquaza but you and your team somehow stopped them and you guys won but the shield is so absurdly big and the scoring speed is just too fast that you can't stop them (especially tanks) from scoring 100 points.
Tbf, his team should also be aware that Blastoise isn't back yet and they have to stop the push. Well, can't expect much coordination in soloq.

With the huge advantage you had pushing top would have been the easiest choice and ult if you need to and secure the beeak
Ok but personally I don’t push enough with the regieleki and this caused me some probleme were sometime if I pushed with the team we would have maybe break the goal so I most of the time don’t push unless im sure we can push the goal like in the early game if im the jungler with a level advantage if my team pushes with me or if nobody defend the goal but yeah overall pushing to much is annoying but not pushing enough is also pretty bad

It's funny how many games get thrown or become unnecessarily difficult because of how people approach Regileki....
There are ONLY 4 things you should ever be doing after securing Regileki:
A) Steal enemy jungle/farm EXP
B) Score in the bottom goal(trust me 7/10 times most if not all of the enemy team is trying to defend top so if you REALLY need to score that's were you should be).
C) Be ready to defend your top goal because someone on the enemy team is gonna try and push it in retaliation.
D) Rotate bottom and secure Regi buffs(Ideally at least 1 teammate should stay bottom to defend goal and secure buff anyway) even if Steel is the best buff they all give team wide EXP which can help turn a losing fight on its head.
ANY of those options are better then pushing T2 goal and dying/feeding the enemy team. And defending your goals will help your team keep their point lead.
I love option A. Go and steal their buff before Ray, leaving your jungle buff for your team.
RIP Regieleki (aka rotom 2.0 now), I miss your meta back then when big fight happens everytime you spawn..

Eleki is fine if:
- it's before 5:00
- t1 goal is gone
- there's at least 3 of your team
- you have unite moves
- you actually have points to score
- t2 goal is >20
what drives me N U T S is seeing people dying to push eleki against a goal with 6 point left
I hate when my team just keeps spamming thanks if we dont get regieliki, sometimes i stay lane to farm audinos if i am behind in experience and they keep pinging me..... And feels like bottom objective doesn't even exist even though its mostly better than eleki
Regileki is the most bait objective in the game. Everyone's going up for it, having an extended team fight for it, dying trying to push it, then they wanna cry and FF at 5:00 because they lost it, like make it make sense????
The games I've been in lately have been making crazy! How are these players so dumb!!!! Never where they should be, objectives mean nothing to them, team fights are non-existent, it's astounding really. The enemy team has two competent people and that's it, more than our team.
When I told this to my teammates.. They call me Noob🙂

It's very circumstantial. Most of the time it isn't a good idea. I've stolen jungle while Regi is advancing and then went to harass the other team to trade off one death (me) for multiple losses on their side at times and up their stress level to keep pressure on. That's a low risk situation though - whole team there is another story.
Pushing first eleki into second goal is only possible if you get it before a few enemies get lvl 9/8 for the unite move.
And if you yourself have atleast one good dmg unite left.
Once this is not the case I would not risk it anymore at all.
Second eleki and potentially 3rd are just way to hard to get in tho, sometimes randomly with luck it happens, but it's better to use eleki to farm stuff on the enemy side/take bottom goals/objective.
I know Cris knows this all, but for everyone else really.
It's btw also kinda lucky that even tho the gren went for the score at the end with unite up, he still made it in time to steal ray and succeded. Easy win, but so many weird plays that probably won't work in most games.
People just can't decide properly when to push, or when to just pressure with eleki while stealing farm and looking for opportunites to get pick ups in fights your team is overnumbering the opponents
Well tbh rayquaza will be the reason why people lose games. I can't tell you how many games we are winning so hard and then someone wants to sit there doing rayquaza when it isn't even needed.
goin to regileki tier two is a sound move if they are low level early you can easily push their tier two tower if and only if your team ALL goes there if NOT better back and cross plant in the bottom. i hope nobody takes this one as offical strat and believe that taking tier two tower is wrong...which is NOT unless the conditions are met.
Its more effective take eleki and go for the bottom goal most of the time, and people still try to push it
Yes actually is true coz the other Regis atleast provides the teammates with shield and some short of level but pushing with regileki sometimes makes this go out the Hand
Pokemon unite matching is like lossers team vs winning team.
I think I can explain the "why" as someone who used to do this up until Toon released his "Why Regieleki sucks" video.
Effectively, people just haven't adapted to all the changes that the developers have made to Theia Sky Ruins. Unlike Remoat stadium which stayed the same for it's entire existence, there have been a bunch of changes to Theia sky ruins.
When Theia Sky Ruins was released the amount of damage that regieleki did was cracked and Rayquaza was so crazy bulky that maybe like 25% of games actually ended up with Rayquaza being defeated. So people discovered really early on how powerful Regieleki was.
Unfortunately, while Theia Sky Ruins has changed dramatically since it's first release, people's approach to the map has not changed along with it.

And then when there are like 4 enemies bot and only a level 5 Dartrix to defend, they decide to leave to farm instead of pushing... Just zero awareness from most players in this game, the map is big enough yet it still is very difficult to look at it.
Also why do so many people go for regielektri instead of the steel, rock or ice one on the first objective

One time the opponents tried to push the last Regileki at around 2 minutes and 4 four of died
And we easily melted Rayquaza cause 3 of us were alive and it was a 3v1 situation
Getting the last Regileki kind of backfired for them
I hate when my team ahead , and starting to attack rekuaza first then the enemy snatced it.. it happened almost every game.
I only push regilieki if it's before the 5 minute mark to the tier 2
Iam losing my mind as to why the center lane person feels the need to take all farm from lane at the 8.50 minute mark, while not even making a effort to gank the opponent. And than leaving after all that not caring if said lane is getting rofl stomped cause those in that lane are now behind in level.
The last like 3-4 season I get to master and never play ranked again. I swear the quality of players goes down every season. I wish we could have a hard reset of ranked and those 48% win rate players could stay in expert where they belong lol
Meanwhile I got to master with a 45% winrate last season lol
I'm so sick of that dynamic. So many lost team fights. The whole team top path spam pinging me because I'm soloing the bottom objective. It's so hard to successfully push it to the second goal. And I feel using it on the first goal as a waste.

I m content watching you question what these guys were doing. I have lost count how many times players like these throw the game. Solo queue is really difficult and if anyone can master solo they have patience for anything. Somedays i just scream because of the madness.
I always go for the regi trio first when they spawn. Id rather have the buff for the whole team than the chance of a push.
I never understood the concept of always doing something the same way without consideration for the situation...

SoloQ is tough in that sense. They had 4 pushing. Not saying a 5th would make it successful, but it might have minimised the harm. Atleast you guys won in the end

I usually push first one or if ik most of other team won't reach in time what I've seen it mess up the team who got pushed and more likely to make mistake .
honestly you being present in that push could have easily pushed it in instead of going bot and doing exp clear blastoise could have offered so much there and had easy snowball
and also you wanted to start bot objective as blastoise alone when everyone lost the teamfight hard because of this play

Macro sense is lacking in this game bcoz of stupid rank system, and no real rank stuff, many are like in the range of seeing stuff only as black and white, instead of grey and other colours
I love getting regieleki, asking guys with less goals to go act like we are pushing as well getting 4-5 members of enemy team top and then secretly sending 1 or 2 guy bottom to score a big number.
Pushing RegiRotom most of the time is just you giving free experience to the enemies.
Pretty sure when the new map was introduced that elecki was the best option
I took ray earlier and zero people scored. we lost by 44 points.
People Lazer focus on eleki so much that they leave exp/bot regi, even when the bot goal is broken
Top regi is good and all, but the bottom regi is just as important (if not more important in some situations) and leaving exp that you could have gotten for free can hurt you in the long run (ESPECIALLY if you are a carry who needs exp to help the team)

You need multiple hindurance and knock back moves for your team to push

Now that Ray is zaptos I feel Regileiki doesn't matter as much. Bottom regi is usually the right play to make.
Top leki is still the play, it's just that in solo q it's hard with no comms to coordinate a solid push.... but that doesn't make eleki bad, it provides map pressure, and the bot Regis really don't provide enough xp to justify going for most times.... same with their buffs, they are really weak
@Serily already seen it, he says something about the botregis have been buffed, and leki is just like rotom, but it's alot stronger than rotom, and as far as I can tell the bot Regis have received no buffs since theia sky ruins came out.... but hey I guess these content creators need to make content somehow lol

Regieleki pushes fail because people take the objective then literally walk away. If you all actually push together it’s free, and it’s easy to disengage and leave if it’s a losing fight

That game was a disaster
Regieleki is worse than Rotom, hear me out: when Rotom and Dred were around people managed to figure out that Rotom was trash and at least a few would rotate to Dred.
Now everyone thinks "Regi is so strong, it does damage" and try to push with it... which means your team dies more often.
Anyway that's a rant but I agree it's a bad objective most of the time
It used to be really strong when games didn't rely on Rayquaza. Was a big help in scoring when games on the new map didn't rely on a coinflip like Zap used to be, of course now that every game is always centered on Ray again its lost a lot of its value

I'm noticing only tryhards like Cinderace and Greninja aggressively pushed RegiRotom. At least for the matches I got. Some even camping 20 seconds before it arrives.
P.S I love playing Blastoise this season. The moves are hard hitting *and* very annoying to go against 😅
Blastoise has been strong for a long time and no one seems to care. I thought they’d nerf the reach of his surf but apparently not.
