Age of Civilizations 2: Uniting Japan

- Beginning as Oda in 1440, I managed to unite and form Japan by 1504. Shortly after, using a little bit of bribery and playing old rivals off one another, I managed to defeat the Ming dynasty, seizing Korea, and securing my position on he mainland. Fun game all around, let me know what you think, if I should do a part 2, and other games (made by Paradox) that you think I should play.

I once united Japan too! Without cheats or sandbox mode of course. I had whole of Japan and Korea. Also I was bored and I colonized almost all of the North America :).

Btw one advice for you all folks
If you don't have same army as their(country you are sending ultimatum to) they won't give any provinces, only vassalazition and then annex
Once you have more army then their population be free and take how many provinces you want

Good job! I did the same thing not long ago and it's not difficult but thanks for doing it cause I really like Japan, his people and his culture. Btw foe the next one, can you form german empire starting as Brandenburg in 1200 or 1440?

im playing as ottoman in 1440 right now and I sent 10000 troops to Japan and invaded all the small city states one by one now I own all of Japan as the ottomans lol.
Japan is a easy target in 1440 you can annex it all easily and it has lots of population and economy
Germany too but that's harder to do
I mean, congrats, but imagine if they made a united front just like China, I would imagine they would just laucnh like a frick ton of soldiers like to be almost as good as ottomen army, let's do this calculation and say that for each city state thry can make 2,000~ units, that would be insane

@@zeqirzeqiri1216 I once became enoughly brabe to declare war to all Japanese nations at once in late game as Ming Dynasty, I got beaten by them and end up giving Taiwan and most of my most populated provinces to stop the wars

I did this as oda to let’s just say a big war against Korea helped me beat the rest of Japan
I successfully united japan one, but with the strongest country of which japan was united

im pretty sure i formed the japanese empire in the 1440 gamemode
i took half of japan and my vassal owned an eighth of japan and i allied with most the nations but the ming dynasty had a HUGE foothold in there and allied with all of china and some japanese houses and they fucked us up and took basically all of japan

You don't have to offer the ai money to Dec on someone you can literally offer them nothing and they will still accept
