    This is probably the best CVT I’ve seen reviewed. The car moves, and you’re most likely to driver in eco mode anyway. I don’t like the looks of the car but the interior is fantastic. Chery/Omoda probably makes the most beautiful interiors around. I’ve my suspicions though, that test model you were given looks like it’s been in an accident.

      I feel like you and I were talking at some point about all you said above because I literally saw it that way and to top it off I suspected that something might have happened to the car, especially from the rear and front left side. You are spot on there👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

    The Omoda's are considered coupe version of their main stream sibilings. The C5 is a Coupe Tiggo 4, the upcoming C9 more of the Jaecoo J8/Tiggo 8 Pro

    • @sandisongwenya4667
      @sandisongwenya4667 10 месяцев назад +1

      I think the C9 is actually the luxury that Omoda brand is meant to be because it is engineered to be a luxury car. It is a rebadged Exeed RX which is the pure luxury brand for Chery.

    I definitely think the C9 is the one that is luxury because its actually a rebadged car from Chery's luxury brand. I think the C5 wasn't thought all the way through and they were still trying to figure out what Omoda is. Its like Jaecoo for example, they are trying to position it like Range Rover (Capable offroad luxury) but the J8 is a rebadged Tiggo 9 which isn't specifically engineered for offroad like the J7. So that comparison of the C5 being the coupe version of the Tiggo 4 I think makes sense but not the luxury version. Can't wait for the C9 to be driven but from the Exeed RX reviews I am seeing that seems to be true luxury - materials, drivewise. Like it was engineered purposely to be a luxury car

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, I checked it out at the 2023 FOM and it does look and feel the part (C9 that is). I was not exactly sure where the Jaecoo falls but the boxy shapes make me fall in love with them before even touching them. The C9 should kickstart the luxury perception, I hope it is priced right and has no issues at all. It deserves the attention (together with Jaecoo).

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  10 месяцев назад +1

      I love the interior as well, the charging pad is almost well positioned until you realise it is in the area where the sun shines the most in the car most times. The phone gets hot from the charger and then sun, not a good combination.
