Loving the friendship that you three have. In terms of the contact lenses once you practice with shortish nails, it will be a lot easier with longer ones! I know this as I've done many contact lens teaches myself. Your reaction of being able to see with them was so relatable and cute🤣
So looking forward to watching this! Your friendship with Amelia & Victoria is lovely to witness 💖 P.S. I (sometimes) awkwardly laugh/smile during stressful/concerning events too.
Like a lot of other long time contact wearers, I say you CAN do it with long nails!! I have had contacts for about 26 years, since I was 11. It was super hard at first and weird to touch your eyes. Do what everyone else says with using the pads of your fingers- my trick is to pull the contact slightly off of the iris to kind of break that suction and it pinches out much easier without feeling weird! Good luck & you can def do it with long nails!! ❤
For me, I had really long nails done one time and found it impossible to take my contacts out, but that was when I went from short to long in a day. Later, I let my nails grow and slowly adjusted to using my fingers differently to take my contacts out and it now works with any nail length. Give yourself time. Adjust to contacts first and then you can grow your nails back when you’re confident in dealing with them.
Love this spontaneous vlog you look absolutely beautiful hun. Girl your vibes are just so unique. Lots of love to you. Kinda new to your work and content. Such inspiring at first sight. Keep up the amazing work and keep inspiring keep smiling ❤❤❤😭🥹✨
Love this contact lens journey for you! I remember the first time I tried them (about 20 years ago point 😮) and having that same feeling of, wow, I can see so much more clearly now! You will probably have some weird experiences with them but it will certainly get you over fear of touching your eyeballs. I really would recommend shorter nails though. The thought of scraping my eyeballs with long nails gives me the ick!
I tooootally remember my first time getting glasses and the feeling of being able to see clearly again. And when I first got contacts? 🤯 Mind boggling, I was able to see and without having specs on me nose! Tip: with med-long nails I usually just slide the contact a little to the inner corner, I find it easier to take them off like that!
susie i was the same when i had my contacts for the first time after not seeing since i was 4 haha whole new world and oh this is what my face looks like :) how i find it easier to put them in and out with long nails is pull your lower eye down not your top and take it out so much easier. x
I thought this watching the vlog back but I checked and only one is missing and the others are from where they're at an angle that doesn't hit the light but they are there 😇
So the nails+ contacts is a thing, BUT I know there are little tools out there to do contacts with long nails, like soft lens tweezers n stuff. maybe an idea to look into that!
Its been 2 years since i got the lenses and it was the best decision I’ve made , but i had to sacrifice my nails unfortunately lol its worth it tho ❤ good luck you
Use a finger on each hand to get them out, and pinch together with the pads of your fingers. I had the same problem when I first started getting acrylics after having contacts. Not so possible to pinch with 2 fingers on the same hand, so try one on each x
@@SuzieBonalditry using the sides of your finger times, (nails pointing towards your nose) and lightly pinch and pull. Since you haven't had contacts before it will take some getting used to to remove them with short nails But once you get the feel for it, it will be easier to try different ways to take them out
You can wear contacts and have long nails. You just take them out with the cushion of your thumb and index finger. You put the cushion of both fingers on the either side of the lens, and then move your fingers towards each other - so you have a pinch movement - lift the lens. Another tip is to have the mirror lay flat on a surface and you look straight down. Instead of looking straight at or on slight angle at a standing mirror. I have all the confidence in you, just give at a go.
Cute how you called Ryan your bf here lol. Also struggling with getting my contacts out with long nails. Please ask Amelia to do a tutorial for all of us xxx
Suzi if you think the lenses are transformative, you should seriously consider getting laser surgery. I wore lenses for years until my eyes started to reject them, got laser surgery and it was life changing!
Not going to lie, Suzie, this vlog made me laugh a bit. Girl, you've been walking around a little blind all this time! I also struggled at first with getting the lenses in and out. I now wear glasses -- also Chanel
of course! But I'm not allowed to walk out the opticians with contacts if they don't think I can remove them! You have to be able to prove you can get them in and out 3 times before taking them away.
£400 for a SL sparkly sandals THAT HAVE A SPARKLE MISSING ALREADY😮. Are you kidding me? 400 to get a pair that has diamontes fall off in a heartbeat. It is a one-time wear kind of shoe, let's be honest. No hot applied sparkle can stay secure for more than one wear.
I love seeing a small part of yours, Vic’s & Amelia’s friendship - it gives me all the good feels 🥰

Wearing contacts for the first time is AMAZING! I haven’t had them in years, need to get some 😍🥰

Allana's Bicester shopping vlog from last year was how i was introducing to you and Victoria! Love the shearling YSL sandals so much!!

22:50 Is there a missing crystal on the right pair? I hope not! They're stunning
Hi Suzie, what film camera did you use for the photos you had developed? Thank you 😊x
Can you link the camel colored cardigan at MaxMara? Please and thank you. 🧡

I wonder if you noticed the sparkly YSL shoes are missing some stones, they are so pretty!

Those sunglasses are stunning on you
You can try to use the tip of your knuckles to get it out you can have the longest nails if you get use to that technique
Loving girl time❤

Beautiful heels💛
You can get your lenses out with long nails. The length of the nails is not important. You just a different technique. I do it all the time.
Yes I agree, I did also with long nails when I wore lenses, you use the pad of your finger, it's just practice.
You're going to need to DM me a tutorial because my optician will literally not let me take them home until I can do it in front of him!
Yes, and u are not supposed to use ur nails to take out ur lens. U need to use the tip of ur finger.

Looks like one sparkle is missing from the YSL mules.
I have inch long nails and I’ve worn lenses for 230 yrs!!!! I’m also an optical assistant and I teach people how to get their lenses in and out!!!
You can do it with nails after you get some practice. You got this 👍 very happy for you 😎
How is your sister in law???

Just wondering why you don't get Lasik eye surgery. It was the best investiment I ever made. I regret waiting as long as I did.

woah slow down there cowgirl it's literally taken me 32 years to get brave enough to get contacts let alone let someone laser beam my eye 😂

Watching for Victoria. xoxo
I honestly hated that first cardigan 😂 I love teddy things but that was not the one
I just wear one contact ...its very common .
How i wish I could one day nonchalantly say let's see if it fits with the intention to buy a Coat for over 900 Quid 😂😅
It's just practice with the nails...!!!!

That Was The First Thing That I Noticed On Those Sparkly Sandals … The ‘MISSING DIAMANTÉ!’ 🤭
