Cudos to Donny Watson Transport for allowing the filming. A great insite on how hard these guys work away from their families to deliver us just about everything we have in our homes.

15:42 Here in the States, we don't have cab over trucks anymore, they've pretty much been replaced with big-nose trucks (cab-overs were very common when I was growing up as a kid and a teen in the '60s and '70s). Nice to see Australia did not abandon cab-over trucks. Hello from the US!

Here’s a trick I had beach then when I had an auto road ranger; when you jake put it in “L”, it’ll automatically downshift to 2000ish on jake when braking. Once you’re done slowing down slap it back in auto or manual.

You should ask if you're allowed to take the young man with you. Although I guess you'd need a day trip or an overnighter and back to make it possible. I used to love going in the truck with my dad when I was young, best memories I have I reckon. Watsons are good for giving people with no experience a go. I went to work for them in Derrimut at one point, I had no semi experience or anything. I only wanted to do local though and they wanted 14 hours everyday, so factoring in travel times etc it would have been a 16 hour day everyday from when I left home and got back again, just wasn't worth it for me.

Nice insight to what you do. Do you get paid by the hour or km?

I’m new to driving myself and currently have a HR licence and I work for a fuel hauling company in Wollongong. I can’t wait to get my HC licence in June.

Nice video always nice seeing cabovers as here in the west it's just conventionals but man, in Australia even conventionals look bad ass. Love seeing those Mack's superliners or the KW-K200 such a majestic and respect commanding trucks. Would be nice if they were manual gearbox, I don't trust automatic in big trucks and like you sai they ain't smart😏😉. Cheers and blessings mate!

It always baffles me how they don’t sell our models over there mate! Obviously a different market and economy but these k200 are awesome trucks wish you guys had them 👍

@@crossfamilytrucking yeah would sure be a beautiful sight seeing those going down the hill/mountains, depending the country your in. Sure would love to hear a straight pipe k200 roaring down a mountain called la (Rumorosa) in Mexico. Or rolling down the Rockies in the US! But we got to settle with the lame Volvo's or cascadia 🙁 on this side! Cheers matey!!
