The shots Carlos can do from defensive positions are insane.

No kidding. Those crosscourt backhands he hits while on a dead run are just crazy. That must so demoralize his opponents. They put in him jail in the corner, and then he smacks that backhand right past them. Oof.

@@vanessanunes4549 What do you mean "plays a lot". every professional player plays a lot. he had a very hectic season and was feeling it in the hard court season, as every Olympics medallist did. i know what he has won which is why i said "... this is the real Carlos". he didn't win them (and this match) without the mental spark and joy for the game. What's your malfunction FFS? You don't get to tell me jack

@@mireafelder8194 You are absolutely right on that one. But we know all too well what social media is today. But Carlos is not a machine either and needs time to decompress (in his own words) unfortunately he simply didn't have the time to rest and recover adequately. But i believe this is only a blip. Game wise, his serve placement will be crucial to winning points quickly and it's getting there, but its a process plus he will get back to full gear soon

@@mireafelder8194 now there's the Sinner fanbase which is becoming a bit obnoxious and passive-aggresive since the doping stuff.... They are throwing shit against Carlos because they don't have anything better to do It seems. On the contrary, Djokovic fanbase seems now calmer (since now it's finally, officially, considered the GOAT) and they even support Carlitos, crazy world we live in...

What is the sense of this tournament? Is it sth similar to the Olympic games? Can a country be represented by two or more tennis players?

When Carlos was good, he’s very very good. When it’s bad, he turn into something good.

Madre mia cada día salen mas máquinas del tenis, este Ugo tiene un estilo raro pero es una mala bestia......le podría ganar a Djokovic en un día normal, pero Carlitos se sale

It’s great for him to redeem him self for Spain. Silver at the Olympics two slams. He’s only getting better. And like another comment here when Carlos is playing well he’s very difficult to beat.
