I cross shopped between an RS7 and a M3P. Both have their place. For my purposes, right now, I'm glad I got the M3P. I'd have had the RS7 in pieces involved in a huge project instantly (specifically, the screen thing you mentioned) and I'd never have time for anything else.
Rich, first of all, dude. I'm so glad we don't have to watch the same old boring Tesla crap. Don't get me wrong, I was designing an AWD drive swap into my 1976 Hatteras Yacht, which I inherited the day before my mother's passing in July of '19 after a long battle with COPD. The boats engines were submerged while it was in it's slip of 6 years in San Pedro, Ca. It had ruptured an original through the hull hose and began taking on water under the front birth forcing the bow under first. Night security at the Dock noticed water coming up through the birth hatch and the unusual position of the bow being under but also the stern rising up. It was nose in. When I took ownership of it and sent cameras down both the port Crusader 330 454 Chevrolet 4bolt HD engine and the starboard(reverse rotation)Crusader 330 both engines were severely damaged and had to be refitted. So in my mind I went through many different scenarios and when Chevy debuted the E-10 at Sema with the stacking of motors and batteries from the volt and the incredible performance that truck was capable of. I considered it as a model for going all electric. Of course after working through all the original, updated, direct 6.2L LS swap from wrecked trucks. All scenarios were certainly possible but then i got hooked on checking out all the Electric powered vessels circumventing this planet. One, I believe is 270' Long and its complete topside skin was all photovoltaic cell material. I was becoming more phesable. When Covid hit it was shortly after the TV show I was on was cancelled and from February until 2 weeks ago I had received no income. Unemployment just payed hundreds of thousands of unemployed people here in Ca retroactive benefits going back that far just two Mondays ago. Consequently all these people made a run on the money like Toilet paper early on. And in a matter of a few days force closed 80% of the Bank of America's in Southern California. Literally wiped out all the cash and coins. Most of the Bof A's were down around a week but are very strict about allowing people to go inside. The ATM Machines are out of cash in a few hours. Its crazy. I bring all of it up because the Harbor Master Lien Saled my Yacht because I could no longer make the slip payment although I had bought a 40' boat trailer and was preparing to have it towed to a crane and the crane would place it on my trailer, and a shipper would overland it to my shop in Anaheim. All for around 2000.00. I owed 3 months of rent to the Harbor Master at 470.00/month. But my industry of nearly 40 years was completely shut down and we so far have not been able to restart. It's not a sad story many more people are less fortunate. But to watch you go through that "boring... Tesla drama merry-go-round and what it was doing to your spirit was ridiculous so if you had an epiphany or it was a collective effort from your supporting cast, bravo. This Audi is pretty friggin ridiculous, i have an Audi project of my own. And just learning about this Company and it's extra German wierdnesses beyond Mercedes and BMW. Was a trip. But once you understand that anything you have to do will involve unbolting the power train/Subframe from the car. It all falls into place. Personally being a GM fan my whole life and my currently owning '68 BB SS 4SPD Camaro, '70 El Camino '87 C-4 Verte/factory Hardtop, '00 C-5 6spd, and my '03 Cadillac Seville STS Northstar, and ny several Chevy trucks. I was pulling for the CTSV. I did 2 seasons of work on TOP GEAR USA with Tanner Faust and when I was there the track record was held by the stig in a CTSV wagon. Besting every supercar in the world including the C-6 ZR-1, McClaren, Lotus, Amg 55,63 or any other contenders. That car was a tuner car and it's flat out acceleration out of the tear drop slide was unbelievable. I was Manning a camera at the apex of the turn for all these runs. So dude keep on doing it and doing you. I like many others appreciate the whole Tesla advance and cool but I don't believe in the practices of the Company, just like I reject all apple products for the controlling eyedropper of technology crap. But I especially can't stand the blind followers, sheep who continue to faithfully defend every fart Elon drops. Come on people participate in the movement don't just watch or criticize Cadillac with visual likes and dislikes. Tesla, as a car builder. Leaves much to be desired. And they're are so very simple. Now dig into an ICE vehicle of today's technology. Complicated Chaos Insanity.

I cross shopped between an RS7 and a M3P. Both have their place. For my purposes, right now, I'm glad I got the M3P. I'd have had the RS7 in pieces involved in a huge project instantly (specifically, the screen thing you mentioned) and I'd never have time for anything else.
this man literally just said 650 HP isn't a lot.... people are spoiled.
out here with my 200 hurspurs ndry as hell
Ikr?!
Anything under 1000 just doesn’t seem that impressive now days. On RUclips that is. The butt Dyno tells a much different story.
My Ford Escape has 245HP, and I find that weak in some cases.
How do people live with under 200HP??
@@TheMorrowgamer it's not the 245Hp is because is a Ford.
I called this months ago when Sam said he was getting rid of it!!!! Can’t believe I was right lol
It’s so funny that it’s not at all. Get over it
@Copter Cop damn you big mad or something let the man be lmfao
Damn, rs7, this series will be good
Watched Rich a long time ago - realized I didn't want a Tesla. Watched Rich today - realized I don't want an Audi.
Makes me long for the days of my '66 Mustang. Twenty minute tune-ups, ten minute oil changes. No sensors anywhere annoying me.
The LS400 in the 90's has had smog sensing for the cabin air for years.
Awesome- Rich Rebuilds has convinced me to never buy a Tesla OR an Audi!
Yeah, this Audi is a bit much, kinda like a driving money pit right off the lot with that insane amount of sensors just waiting for it to rain or something, lol.
@@h2opower In my opinion, a car must be reliable transportation first. It doesn't matter how sexy it is, how fast it is, how exclusive it is. If it can't be reliable transportation, I'm NOT interested in it! Clearly, car makers understand that rich people can be soaked for constant repairs which pads their profits. What a racket, perpetuated of course by owner's egos.
@@ttystikkrocks1042 I noticed that right from the get go as I'm a mechanic and Tesla was not interested in teaching us mechanics how to work on their vehicles. In fact they fought it tooth and nail to not include us, ASE, in their plans for the future. Greed is the curse of Capitalism.
@@h2opower you're absolutely right. The way corporations treat customers is criminal and We the People need to reassert our power over our government to hold them accountable.

There is no fun quite like changing an Audi battery in a parking lot, at night, in the snow.
We had to do that with an old pickup we had, it had gotten so cold that the battery cracked and leaked acid everywhere, nothing like -30 degree car maintenance
I feel bad for all the hardwork rich does and jealous dudes take it away 😣
They’re making him a rockstar tho.
You are a project fixer and that’s why you’re awesome. Tesla lost out when they screwed you over
I've owned two Teslas, one for 5 years. I still have one but there's no way in hell I'd buy another due to the company.
it took me awhile until i realized it was sams rs7 lmaoooo
rich looking up “black guy on beach”
Damn, these next episodes are about to be crazy! I can't wait! That RS7 sounds so mean
It’s actually sad that Sam let this car sit as long as it did.
This was my favorite Samcrac rebuild... how did he just let it sit & deteriorate 😭
same, im so glad Rich got it :D and that he is gonna give it the tlc it deserves and should have gotten from the anonymous farmer when he tried to restore it ;P
That reminds me to go start and check out the vehicle that we haven't sold yet.
Rich: is over electric cars
New ICE Car: has battery issues that breaks everything
Good to see Sam cracs quality repairs lol
And good to see you back to a real car
Strange - I know this location from somewhere. Can`t remember exactly ... ;-)
wow sam really "rebuilt" that RS7 like it was a prop in a tv show and not his actual car
11:33
lee "yeah...they all go bad"
rich: "okay, good"
He threw the moss on the car😂
Noooo, you think so?
Why should he do this?! 😱
Nah man that's a Tillandsia air plant
r/woooosh
“What’s that sucking sound?”, “Rich’s life” classic!
error: rear driver's side belt tensioner resistance too high......reaches to rear passenger belt "This one?'......dude, really?
Nice to meet you person that has never made a mistake/misunderstanding
"Great Value Tony Stark" I love it.
“Caucasian Fest 2020!” 🤦🏻♂️🤣😂
Hi, someone from Germany here.
Yes, we love sensors. Of course we want to have the air exiting the nozzle right at the chosen temperature and not +2° (C of course) hotter because the sun is shining on the black interior and heats everything up ;)
I'm not sure how well that pollution sensor works, maybe it works so well that nobody notices it working ;)
finally some gas content from uncle rich. I'm gonna love this series
One of my fav cars man. Nice! Hey man, as someone who can’t hear that we’ll do you think you can add CC to your videos or get someone to do it for you? Thanks
"Why are there so many sensors on this car?" "Germans."
As an engineer who has to clean up german engineer's messes, this hits different.
As soon as I saw "neglected RS7" in the email notification subject, I knew it would be Samcrac's. I was not disappointed :)
Me thinking Rich is a car expert
The audi dude: brugh your doing all wrong!
Big compliments for your editing!!!
I can't believe Sam let that car get that bad!! Good luck Rich!!
I cant believe it's been a year. That car was awesome and I thought Sam really liked driving it.
It's a joke ffs
Ahem, "Stranger"
@@Krome5555 Likely he didn't like the insurance price on it :)
I love how y’all both troll each other hahaha
Also!... this has been the most interesting video you have had in a while. It’s nice getting back to the “rebuild” part of the channel
I never knew that moss grew inside of the barn! I always saw it on trees when I lived in the south. Whadda-ya-kno about that!
I can see Chris as Amos from The Expanse, solid character
That show is a the goat 🐐
Everyone needs to download riches videos and if they get taken down post them elsewhere
Cars are meant to be worked on, I think car guys are annoying but I understand the passion. At the moment buying a Tesla sounds like buying an already built lego set that you can’t play around with.
Uncle Rich back at it
I love how uncle Rich has a great value scanner lmao
Whoever writes your scripts (even if it is you) is amazing! Makes me laugh and my wife, who is NOT a car person, loves listening and laughs at the funnies!
