I’m watching Derek Prince’s teachings a lot because he’s very clear and specific. I was brought back to God when I was very ill and in great pain waiting for hip surgery a couple of years ago. I was reconnected in a very deep,personal way and God was speaking to me directly, answering very specific prayers and such. But now, as I’m seeking to be more obedient I’m going through a time of great loneliness, depression and I’m not sure if this is from inter generational curses or is it simply increased attacks from the enemy as my prayers get more effective? I just started watching what I realized was a non-biblical explanation of depression, loneliness as a part of the process of spiritual awakening or renewal. Certainly the world is an incredibly evil place today and I’m quite convinced we’re in the End Times because Satan sure is working everything to his will. That said, if anyone can help me understand from a biblical perspective what’s going on, I’d appreciate it. Thanks.

I do come from an abusive background and had no adults looking out for me from childhood. I’ve had a sense of being protected over my life and now as I look back I truly was at times when I put myself in several dangerous situations as a youth. I’ve been reading a fellow Christian Praying Medic (aka Dave Hayes) who has written several books, 3 Steps to Emotional Healing and Hearing Gods Voice Made Simple and he’s been very helpful for me to understand that in and by the bible, Jesus has already given me the authority to heal myself emotionally but of course it’s an ongoing process. As I’ve read his work and researched the chapters and verses he refers to, it’s been very enlightening. He explains his journey and clarifies many scripture misunderstandings people have been taught over the decades. He has exercises to do which have in fact taught me to pray much more powerfully and also how to really hear God through dreams and also some very specific audible directives. It’s been quite amazing. That said, I’m coming to understand the reality of curses, demonic entities and he’s pointed me to the subject of deliverance in scripture on that as well in another book. The loneliness and depression are part of this pandemic nonsense but also because some friends and family members are turning away from me. I still pray for them but it’s a bit painful. Your suggestion to fast and pray is great and I’m going to do so after the summer vacations, and such are over. We can absolutely be cursed. John Rimerez was a general in satans army. He would go on assignment to curse Christians in bars that we’re getting drunk. If Satan can today God also can and will. We can be saved but backslide and go back to our vomit as the Bible calls it. Disobedience can bring a curse. We are covered in the blood but are required to pursue righteousness. I try to follow the Lord as best I can. “TRY” is the word. So, let me try to understand this here because I had no idea. We have a God that curses us? This I think is an extract out of a whole message. The idea is if you have opened yourself up to the demonic realm then God can not bless you and you are inviting a curse or demonic access to your life. You don't need to speak in tongues upon receiving the Holy Spirit. Tongues are not that vital as Bible sais. The Holy Spirit comes upon u once you get babtised in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. You don't need a special baptism to receive the Holy Spirit. That can actually get u into trouble as often you will get an impartation of unclean spirits rather than the Holy Spirit, depending who does it.
Speaking in tongues is a gift from the Holy Spirit I agree but you went a little on the deep end by saying that if we ask God for his gifts (whether in ignorance, or lack of knowledge) He will give us an unclean spirit.. My bible tells me in the book of James , that Our Father only gives good and perfect gifts to His children.

This is true but for people refusing to acknowledge their faults towards Jesus even if they are under Him. They cannot obtain the full mercy of God. You must own up to all your faults because by denying even the small ones your denying yourself a chance to let Jesus come through and rewrite that part of your life. Jesus did become a curse for us but if you do not fully surrender all of yourself completely you will find yourself struggling against the Truth in some part if your life.

The canonisation was not the justification of preaching contrary to the same scriptures . God's word existed prior to canonisation. As for the color of Christ, it's a minor thing to me but note the ancient Isrealites were not white people or European for that matter as portrayed by the media. Read about Job, Moses and Paul's account of how they viewed themselves and were viewed by others. I pray you have a greater understanding of this truth and not the falsehood out there. The scriptures say the devil has deceived the whole world, what is the most believed doctrine may not necessarily be truth. Search for yourself and fight for your own salvation.

If you buy a phone, doesn't it come with instructions (a manual) from the manufacturer as to how to use it correctly? We the consumers hardly read that manual, as we are too.busy, not interesting or what so ever other reason. But if the phone, malfunction or we lack understanding in some aspect of its use, we go to the manuel for instructoons ... God is our Creator (Manufacture) and He gave us His word (the bible) as instructions to live in this world. The bible gives the account of marriage amongst the Isreslites and Egyptians and later the canaanites. All these people were not white people. Even Father Abraham the originator was not European. So, if we except Jesus into our lives we can still be cursed. We are believing in a God that curses us if we are doing wrong? Needless to say, I am a little pissed off about that. Unless I am misunderstanding this or maybe taking this out of context, someone please explain this to me.

The idea is if you have opened yourself up to the demonic realm then God can not bless you and you are inviting a curse or demonic access to your life.
Also generational curses, need to ask God to show you and break the power of them over your life in Jesus name.
Some things just don't disappear when you get saved, you have to be proactive to close the doors where there has been access by the demonic realm, this could be demonic spirits or mental strongholds thoughts and belief system that binds you up in bondage, or oppression.

You don't need to speak in tongues upon receiving the Holy Spirit. Tongues are not that vital as Bible sais.
The Holy Spirit comes upon u once you get babtised in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. You don't need a special baptism to receive the Holy Spirit. That can actually get u into trouble as often you will get an impartation of unclean spirits rather than the Holy Spirit, depending who does it.
Speaking in tongues is a gift from the Holy Spirit I agree but you went a little on the deep end by saying that if we ask God for his gifts (whether in ignorance, or lack of knowledge) He will give us an unclean spirit..

This is true but for people refusing to acknowledge their faults towards Jesus even if they are under Him. They cannot obtain the full mercy of God. You must own up to all your faults because by denying even the small ones your denying yourself a chance to let Jesus come through and rewrite that part of your life. Jesus did become a curse for us but if you do not fully surrender all of yourself completely you will find yourself struggling against the Truth in some part if your life.

In any case no human being who is dead is in heaven. It's only the Father / Son and the holy Angel's.

Simply obey the Lord and not man's doctrine. For his is the judge and not any church doctrines . Secondly, the scriptures predates any organized church . Remember, Christ quoted the scriptures many times and your church was not in existence then. So did all the apostles preach from the scriptures in the absence of your church. The canonisation was not the justification of preaching contrary to the same scriptures . God's word existed prior to canonisation. As for the color of Christ, it's a minor thing to me but note the ancient Isrealites were not white people or European for that matter as portrayed by the media. Read about Job, Moses and Paul's account of how they viewed themselves and were viewed by others. I pray you have a greater understanding of this truth and not the falsehood out there.
