It’s difficult finding adult female friendships because women my age are usually only interested in spending all their time with their spouse and kids and other families. It’s challenging being single with no kids. Sometimes I feel my friendships r one sided. I’m more invested 🤷🏻♀️ just gotta keep trying and believing and praying

I am not shy. I am an introvert. But at 56 it’s not easy to make friends. People have their friends.
I don't really have any friends where I live.I have a life long friend but not living in the same country anymore. I don't live in the country where I was born, so speak another language, I am fluent now but no family around and always "The Foreigner" I have tried because I'm not at all shy .I have joined lots of associations etc but I mostly find people unreliable and let me down. I think it's not so easy to find someone like minded.

People recognize sincerity and authentisity when they meet it, and are drawn to it.
Also because it reflects a person who is relaxed and in harmony - and who dosen't enjoy being around that.

I miss my friends. I have old friends but they all love far away from me. : ( I had friends when my kids were little but they all moved. And I had friends at my first job but I’m not in that job any more. I def need a few more friends

Dear Lorna I dont have any friends I am a loner , I am not a shy person, but I am not really bothered about making friends..
After 2 years on zoom, I miss the comraderie of in person classes.

Friendship through a screen is many times because you're a gamer. I'm a gamer too, and the online world can really help to improve and making new friendships, specially if your friend are living far away from you. The online world and games are a great tool to make friends and maintain them if you're not be able to see each other much, but it won't replace your real life meetings, it remains important to go out doors and meet up in person as well

I did loose all those called friends when a deep stroke of fate hit me - now I am by myself. My faith into real friendships has almost dissovled yet.

My next door neighbor is 68 years old and has hair much like yours, I had a cousin who had a similar hairstyle at approximately same age, she cut it, had it styled and looked beautiful and much younger. You and my neighbor would look much younger without the out of date hair. My cousin looked sophisticated and sexy with the new style.
