Cool. I think a mod that gives the option to load something would be good. It would allow a realistic rapid planned response. = Highlight a weapon or aircraft and have the drop-down click option to load it, whether that’s on the launcher rails or waiting on the catapult or launch area. If selecting a different item then it goes through the unload and item swap process.
Great mods! They are not only very helpfull to take off/land airplanes faster, but to avoid to permanently loose a Carrier because the annoying bug that some airplane got stuck in landing phase forever.
currently i would be happy if they made a mod that added the burke class destroyer and f18 since the makers of the game ended the time period just before the units came into active service
Stealth 17 if u have ever played DCS carrier OPS and read the manual for FA -18 there is a protocol for aircrafts coming to land and to be recoverd by the carrier. They need to maintain a holding pattern and be and also clear the carrier launch point in case are some other aircrafts launching. so is a cool realistic feature and not just part of the game.
SS-N-19 Shipwreck could do with rebalancing. The network guidance system has never been confirmed, and certainly wasn't available according to publications such as Janes in the cold war era
Would you say this is more realistic? Not sure if carriers just keep a whole bunch of unused assets, clogging up the flight deck and creating a target for smaller ordinance that wouldn't threaten the ship, but it would equipment.
This is where I find that out after wondering for hours why in Scenario I made, the Russians haven't launched a single enemy fighter or strike aircraft but only AEW.
You can improvise it somewhat in scenario's by manually quing up launches in the scenario creator, the CV will the perform those launches once the game starts.
Well, with the built in dev tools you can spawn 2 ships on top of each other. The one on top slides down from that below. I think that qualifies for a launch 😜
There was a concept for a navalized F-15, The F-15N Sea Eagle.
Wouldnt it be great for it to get called the F-15N Seagull
I was very surprised how quickly real mods started releasing on the Workshop, especially the ones that add new weapons to the game.
I like this balancing more, with Orel having 1 less elevator compared to Nimitz's. Plus having all of the catapults in use looks sick!

I can agree with that, but I thought the f18 came out in 1978, not the superhornet, but hey I still like your idea even if it is the superhornet.

What I hope to see in the future is ability to bring aircraft up into deck without launching them, for a faster launch

pity that AI won't launch planes from carriers. MP would be a killer in this game, probably won't happen :(

As far as the carrier is concerned, it IS a Nimitz Class but CVN-69 is the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower
