I have a signed copy of Irresistible, found it at a thrift and now I'm even more happy to know Adam is friends (running friends) with Malcom, how cool! :)
Malcolm Gladwell is such a great person to host someone else talking about their ideas; it's really interesting to see him try to figure out the other person's perspectives from the ground up. I think at some point, he should host phd students and postdocs on sort of a paper review discussion session or something. And great discussion by Adam Alter too,
I'm waiting patiently for the general real-time realization that Energy = Singularity-point Resonance mass-energy-momentum i-reflection/Superspin Quantum-fields.., but educational momentum is opposed.., in a thixotropical way.
In Eastern philosophy and religion the nature of reality is impermanence; this is the opposite of the Western mind which is structured around the idea of an unchanging God.
Malcolm and Ater are insightful - awesome.
Got stuck at 58 when neuromuscular disease hit,now 66. Really thought was over. This gives me hope

The problem is that Malcolm is so good and so intelligent and that he makes the interviewee look like a fool.
