Hey, can u tell m anything abt the party life of a grad student (engineering ), also if they have any on-campus housing available for them?
Okay, so I’m not really an engineering major (as I am an architecture major so we somewhat align). However, I would highly suggest to go out as much as you can within your first two-three weeks (if your workload allows you) because from experience it does tend to ramp up.
I genuinely wish I took the advice that I’m giving to you now because then I wouldn’t have been so miserable lol. Good luck and I hope you have fun!!
Also, try to make friends in your non-STEM classes (esp. if you are more reserved in mannerism, like myself).
I guess I would also suggest to make friends with business, psych, humanities majors because they seem like they have the most free time lol and hopefully they would bring you out of your shell. :)
is syracuse uni very diverse? i really love the school but i’m just afraid that it’s not diverse and how is the social life?
I would definitely say that although the percentage of non-white students is low, there is still always a community where you can find where you belong. That’s what I truly love about this school. Most PWIs don’t make an effort to care, but I feel that Syracuse U has actively tried.🧡 you should definitely visit to make sure it’s the right fit for you
