First video I saw of yours was "Rebecca Watson's bad history of Uganda", I just knew something didn't seem right about her analysis from the start so I was looking for a response. Even though her Uganda video is bad I am still quite fond of Rebeccas other content, but maybe I should be a bit more aware of potential inaccuracies.

Congrarulations, you truly desserves it. While I'm here, I am currently reading the rape of Nankin and I am absolutely baffled by the denial of this slaughter by tge Japanese government. And I was thinking of other similar cases like Turkey denial of the Armenian genocide (a teacher from mid school I know had a turkish student that nearly insulted him and called him a liar when he said it happened and showed proofs of the genocide) or simply the indifference, silence of most of the colonial past of european countries. Do you know what generally causes such attitude? The probable damages and interest the nations and people that were victim of it could claim? The simple defense mechanism of using whatever rhetoric or half truths to avoid conflicts and not being hurt by being thrown out of our so precious comfort? Or are there other reasons that are generally invoked when people observe this phenomenon I am not aware of? Still congrats on the 10k and can't wait for the next video
