They gave him an online raid. What more could you ask for? This 13 man clan has to use thier boom on something. If it just sits there in a chest it will get stolen anyway when they get raided. And we get to see quality content ;)
That legendary base design in Zerg territory with key locks is most likely him. Then getting your AK kit beamed out by the owner with a Thompson pretty much confirms it. The shear number of tight angled shooting points and turret locations severely limit the raiders line of site, isolating them from suppressed cover which allows him to simply pick them off. The only time he’s lost is by Zergs who clearly know his design and have enough resources to pre-fire every one of his positions. Even then, they have to break at least 6 highly concealed turrets before getting anywhere near the breach, as it’s too easy for him to keep repairing as he’s done so any times before.
Little late of a comment but these guys are literal bots. They kept attacking the same damn angle of the base when they could have attacked from 4+ different sides and destroyed more of the walls

Implement cooperative challenges. Create unique map resources to facilitate a need for cooperation & trading and fighting that actually makes sense. Implement a proper nutrition system that isn't fucking garbage to make food & water actually matter. Punish / Add severe consequences for mass-murdering psychopaths. Add actual offline raid countermeasures / punishments. Make guns actually difficult to get. Redesign melee to require technique & skill and not be a braindead W+M1 endeavor. Make ammo very scarce & expensive.
One thing to highlight here is AiT's critical thinking skills here. Most ppl are not paying attention to who they kill, what clan ppl are part of, where clans live (usually) and checking map for info like that to then decide "oh I'm getting raided" Most solos get clobbered. Caught off guard. The moment he knew it was coming was the best part for me
Or he's just using ESP, which he is. It's clear as day that he knows where people are when he peaks. He probably saw 13 of them coming on the map towards his location. Still, I will give it to him that even with ESP I couldn't defend this raid myself. He built a good base, and obviously has experience rebuilding while being raided.

Onlines can be pretty awful even though they are fun. My group online raided the group next to us and mid raid they just sealed off their core with an armoured wall and we couldn't afford the boom to get through. We heard them literally picking out the armoured wall the next day. Stupid that you can grief your own base just to stop a raid, sealing is one thing but they full griefed it and had to pick it out.

@@piranha1347 honestly im in a group with varied skill levels, some players are still learning how to get better at raiding and that specific raid i was in the fob so i didn't have much control over the raid itself. However, how would you suggest we go about it differently when the second we start booming they just dont bother defending and seal their entire core with armoured walls? they didnt just upgrade, they literally put down a whole new wall they had to pick out later. I know we could have had more boom but i dont think thats really the best strategy because you could always have more boom and sometimes you need to use it before you lose it. We decided to pummel straight into the side because it would have been cheaper than doors but then we had to not only go through the armoured wall we were prepared for, but also a full new armoured wall. We were pretty much 2c4 from being able to get into core before we ran out of boom and just couldnt take the time to go mine more because they would have sealed and repaired. (we also had to go to bed but running out of boom was the issue)
Imagine using that much boom and getting countered that long... then leave with nothing I actually really like that base design. Really worked for your solo defense. Great video.

Amazing defense! I think the raiders were pretty dumb though. I would make two holes in the compound wall on the opposite sides, that way I could at least get inside the compound. Not sure what next lol. But it was so painful to watch them waste all those rockets at a freaking wall

Whenever I have a tough time as a solo, I think of AIT and get the courage to go on. Recently I started designing my bases similarly to what I see in these videos. We had the (quite rare) occasion to raid defend one in a 3v3. I had one of the best times in Rust. I'll probably be doing my best to get onlined from now on, it's so much fun.

Usually when I play rust the plan is I will definitely be offlined. Usually it is a little door camping and shit talking then at 3am the base is gone. The prep you had for this scenario is insane.
