I think the funny thing is that if this was played by Petrucci within a Dream Theater song or any of the other players we normally cite as the “greats,” it would be considered one of their best solos they’ve ever played. But because Stel is relatively unknown, he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. His blend of technicality with emotion is definitely one of the most solid of any player I’ve ever listened to.
True but for those who love music we always have appreciation in our hearts. In my opinion there's no one better. For those who knows know it. Keep it up bro.
This is TRUE lead guitar or guitar soloing. Every note has a place and a time. Clear and precise. You just encouraged me to keep going. Stay humble my friend.
Man these solos, keep ringing in my head, when I am giving school exams. Just beautiful!!! When words fail, his solos speak. Nice dynamics, especially the volume rolled down part. 🥰🥰
As Marty Friedman pointed out, this kind of solo is what demonstrates your true skill level. No shredding or speed-picking of any kind, no extra notes and noise to bury or cover up mistakes. In a solo like this, if one tiny thing is off, everybody catches it. This is truly a magnificent display of perfection that results from thousands on top thousands of hours of practice. And on a blasted Squier at that!!!!!!!! Excellent work, good sir.
As a Proud Squier Strat Owner I would like to say that this video really proves that no matter what instrument we hold a good player will always sound good. Nothing beats Hardwork and Passion.
After a tough day and long hours at work, Stel you bless me with this beautiful track. Such greatness, such talent,....man you a blessing, love your music!
How can just an instrumental melody touch everyone's heart? I am so happy now after listening this melody, never get bored, I play everytime I come to RUclips 🙏👍💘💖
I listen to this when I need to unwind after a long day. It also helps me sleep. I’ve listened to this probably a thousand times in the last five years. You, sir, are my favorite guitar player. You have a God-given gift! Keep playing my friend!
Man this solo touched me in a way I can't explain in words but just by hearing it automatically makes me want to become a better guitarist, thanks for sharing your awesome gift of playing guitar to the world.

Too many players fall into the "trap" of playing too many notes too quickly... In my humble opinion, the secret is just to "let the music breathe" - leave some space between the notes - silence is golden, just as golden as the notes are... Stel gets it, and it is simply gorgeous to listen to.
I'm sorry for my english. but I have to say that. We must not cry for futile things. but there are things that make us cry with joy. Your music is one of those things.

I am guessing he's probably changed out he pickups to something a little better. Even so it is amazing what you can get out of that squire.
Malcolm Naylor he’s stated in other comments that this is the standard pickups. It’s actually a squire bullet which is a $200 dollar guitar.
