Wow!! Great performance and awesome cover! Love this song! And love the effort you put into making this video. Man, how I wish I could jump in and jam together with you 🙂🤘Cheers!
@a1rabidfox34 Hm, I didn't know the guys play it in Drop C#, I thought it was Drop D all along and I never really checked to see how they play it live. Luckily my pitch is still right even in Drop D, haha. Anyway, thanks a lot for the info!
Unfortunately I don't know and I don't have the possibility to check anymore, as most likely the delay was set up directly from my Digitech RP500 effects pedal, which I am no longer using. And even if I had had access to that pedal, it wouldn't have helped that much, as I always set my delay to sync with the song tempo. I don't rely on milliseconds because often times songs don't have a constant tempo throughout their duration so I prefer to sync them somehow to the metronome/tempo from my DAW. In any case, getting back to your question, it should not be too many ms. To give you an idea, the delay on the clean parts is something like 1/16 notes, so maybe it would be of help, using the tempo of the song as reference, to calculate approximately how long is one 16th note, and that's gonna give you the no of ms you should set your delay to. And of course, you can tweak further from there if you feel it's necessary. If you find this to be too complicated, then simply experiment with the duration of the delay. Start from 5-10 ms and keep adjusting until it sounds right to you.
@@mikeKidLazy hey, all good! i've been thinking of getting separate pedals for delay and such for a while now, and the one josh likely used in recording this has been on my mind so i'll look into getting that one. thank you though!
I don't upload the tracks without the metronome because there have been people who have used my tracks without permission and claimed them as their own. Plus, these videos I make are for instructional purposes only, so I leave the metronome on in case anyone wants to play along with my track.
@@eriimyon_ I just record my guitar tracks in my DAW, then I solo them and I add the click track on top of them in my DAW. I personally use Reaper, it's very lightweight and you can also use it for free as long as it's not for commercial purposes.

tune down a half step and shift over one fret and you got it!
What do you mean?
@@mikeKidLazy the song a half
Step down, drop D flat. So it’s like 11 and 10 on the high strings and 12 and 14.

Actually, this song would actually sound great if it was in Drop A#, anyone agree?!?
Awesome cover to?!?🤘
do you know what your delay was set to in milliseconds? that's all my pedal has 😅

You're welcome. Good luck with getting the tone you're looking for.
try with 180ms
Огромное спасибо 🥰🤗 а у тебя есть видосы где ты без маски?😊😃
Спасибо большое! Ну, мои самые первые видео на канале были без маски))))
Can you tell me the delay setting you used on the cleans?
For this one I've used the ReaDelay plugin (embedded into Reaper) set to 1/8 notes (it's synced to the tempo of the song which is 82 BPM).
Thank you!!
My pleasure!
drop d?
If I remember correctly, yes. Please double check in the video description though, I wrote everything there.
do you have one without the metronome?

@@mikeKidLazy thanks, how do you put metronome on your tracks? or do you have any suggestions for free DAW?
