Its funny how videos like this stop getting views after so long. I'm going through my favourites and found this long lost gem. 7 years since the last comment is crazy. great vid.
I, too, still remember it fondly. It has such a melancholy atmosphere with elements of loneliness and a deep longing for hope It's like remembering your late grandmother's house on a Sunday afternoon. Full of old things
I saw this video 7 years ago.. and ever since, I randomly remember it and come on here to watch it again.. not sure what it does to me, but it sure gets to me on a level I have yet to discover. And here I am again..
This has always made me want to write a short story about the two men who literally live in their suitcases. I can imagine them travelling the world and hold everything they could ever need in their cases
To the lucky people who found this in 2024 (that probably don’t exist. . .); how about you take the time and save this before it turns into lost media?
There are only two ways of looking at this. If you don't translate it, then it's absolute gross, but if you do translate and understand it then its absolute brilliance. To me, that was real and brilliant.
Remember watching this when I was 8 or 9 at the NFB location in Toronto. It totally freaked me out. So many great memories watching films there as a child.
I love this video, and every time I remember it, I come to see it. It's still fascinating how every time I see it, I am in a different perspective in my life and I somehow feel it like it's the first time.
I dont like the story but the clay characters were so well made. Their facial expressions and movements were very sophisticated.. she looks real, and especially her eys are really great. So well made claymation.
I could be wrong, but I may have seen this in an animation collection DVD rental or on 56k modem Atom Films before RUclips even existed! It reminds me of a lot of other short films too, all from long ago.
Це справжня перлина анімації. Її очі такі реалістичні, такі емоційні. Я так розумію, що сюжет це алегорія, але всіх деталей не бачу. Певна, що він глибше ніж здається
Hold it! at 16:52 are they giving thanks to Jay Stephens the creator of The Secret Saturdays and Tutenstein for real? Also, if so I can understand cause he and this amazing animated short are from Canada.
I couldn't work out how the story actually worked it was gross when he pulled the heart out of the man also the man opposite the women on the train was really ugly and so was his son
Thank you Doodley for pointing us to this work of art

The fact that she could not open her mouth became so apparent and exasperating once she started running. Magnificent detail!

imagine them using their suitcases as transportation too
like sliding down mountains with them
beautiful animation. quite incredible the emotional depth.

There is no way I found this! This was lost media for me. I saw it when I was so young it scared me and I've been trying to find it for years!
Thanks Doodley
Crazy how well done this is. There are moments you'd think its live action the way it's shot incredible

The eyes are green screened in from real actors, believe it or not.

Gorgeous and haunting. I absolutely love this genre of storytelling ❤️❤️❤️

9:57 pm I hope I don’t have nightmares after watching this. It was amazing & terrifying all at the same. Madam’s eyes are so lifelike, and spooky. 😮
The butterfly was an angel.
The woman looked like co co chanel, with her short hair and pearls.

Even we chose in the travel, they can not see all we want.
Emotional baggage perhaps?
Oh, so that is what happened to the Moose...
What is this about exactly?
great animation but the whole storyline was lost on me. I just saw her as a hoarder and the butterfly helped her out somehow?
Fucking scary!
Last me kiya huva iska
Love it ❤ 2024
No mature content my ass.
This will give ME nightmares, and I ain't ten years old.
Fantastic film.
I came here from Doodly!.

Confusion .

What's this about
I think it's about dying
It's about living.
Hiroshi então começou a empacotar as coisas dela e pos na garagem, estava com cor de abandono, não sei se ele sabia onde ela estava.
Esses rostos de homens me são familiares, acho que é do Kibon oiê
Imaculada não tem dor de cabeça.
It gives me hollow night vibes
Or little nightmares

Entendi nada

Personally I just wasted 17 minutes and 17 seconds of my time.
Frightening....its just..so frightening its so abnormal..
I've always hated animation like this its so hideous...
Disgusting, I despise this kind of animation.
Then why watch it? No one forced you I am sure.
