DLSS is useful also for lower end GPU, or people who want to play in high frame rate (100+). Frame gen requires baseline performance to be good (50+ fps) otherwise you get loads of ghosting artifacts. This game is on ID Tech engine if I'm not mistaken (the same engine as Doom Eternal) so it's very likely you get good performance unless you turn on all bells and whistles on a weak GPU/CPU config. Don't jump to conclusions

Everyone comparing this to Uncharted 4 on a graphical level needs to play Uncharted 4 again. I played Uncharted 4 just 2 weeks ago on PC with all graphic settings maxed and there is no way Uncharted 4 actually looks better than what we see in this video. Uncharted 4 severely lacks any ambient occlusion as all shadows and lighting are baked in. This game is actually using dynamic ambient occlusion and that alone will be more than enough to look better than Uncharted 4. And just for the record Uncharted 4 is my favourite game of all time so it's not like I am hating on it, I am just being realistic about this. And one last thing. People need to stop hating on, and writing off ALL games these days. Sure, I don't want to see any woke/DEI stuff in my games and I will avoid those games at all cost. But it seems everyone is just hating on any new release because it's not 100% what YOU wanted. Well guess what... You are just as bad as those activist DEI "journalists" with your narrow minded views. Why not actually give something a chance and then you can critique it.
Remove about 15 seconds from this, and ignore the fact it's a game engine, and it could be a movie trailer instead of a game trailer. So presumably yet another by the numbers, barely a game, interactive story type thing? If the gameplay isn't worth showing off other than in a few seconds worth of disjointed clips, I get rather suspicious. As always, wait for reviews.
Y'know Indiana Jones was the original Adventurer that inspired the the character of Nathan Drake and the Uncharted Franchise right? He had the whip as a combat and traversal item way before Nathan had the Grappling hook and Nathan didn't even get it until his 4th game, Indy had his whip since the first film.
Yeah ill have to wait for some reviews, pre-ordering died in 2020.

The engine they are using for this game is holding it back to the previous gen, Uncharted 4 looks better and it was released in 2016... However if this gets released in VR some day it would be amazing! Let's see how it ends up
