Before shooting our video, San, the Chinese girl and I were actually talking about interracial relationships and if we're open to it possibly in the future. i'd really like to know why korean people look down on south east asians (indonesians, thais, vietnamese ,malaysians, filipinos, etc), what could be the reasons? ive watched other blogs who have mentioned about it, and the only reason i could get is mainly because these are poor countries therefore most of them are uneducated?, so they get discriminated a lot. are there any other reasons? reasons like for example, based on history, culture etc.? i do see a lot of koreans here in the philippines to improve their english speaking skills or to learn english, do they still think we are uneducated? im really curious. i posted this question on other related videos too, one korean said, those who goes to the philippines are losers and poor, and cannot compete with other koreans that's why they go to undesired places, lol is that even true?

1. Koreans look down on south-east Asians? No. It's your misunderstanding. 2. Losers and the poor go to the Philippines? It's 90% is right. Actually the Phillippines is at least favorite country for Koreans to learn English. Koreans who are not poor go to U.S or Canada to learn English. Even if the Phillipines is not safe place and their English is not genuine, poor Koreans go to the Phillipines to learn English only because it's cheap and not far from Korea.

i don't like people who don't keep an appointment. most filifino are always late. i know this is a cultural difference. i know that some filifino didn't. but still many filifino are late man on appointment. i live in Manila over five years. but i can't still understand this. but everything is ok except this problem. i love here and i love this people. :)

That’s why now a days we have high rates of singles because everybody is just waiting for the right person to come along. So if you don’t mind try to extend your patience more & more. And the key to a stress free life is to move slowly, wait & savour the moment. 😂✌️
There is a trick there. Adjust it for an hour before the meeting time. Hehe. If you're meeting some Filipino friends and you find out they're always late, set it up for them an hour early for example you wanna meet at 4pm, you say "Let's meet at 3pm". So if you come on time, most likely they'll be there on time as well. But if they're still late atleast you won't wait for too long. And if they come early, then that's great! If they get mad at you coz you're late at the said time, then say "Good! Now you know how I feel". But if it's an office meeting, or anything formal forget what i said. Be on time that just it!
It's a good example of relationships between 2countries where they are not just learning about each countries culture but also they're making a bond of friendship with each other. I really want to have a korean friend like him also. And if I got a chance I would really be honored if I get to know a friend from other countries also. That would be amazing😆😆

Nice, I wanted to meet my three korean friends also. We met on a website and got our kakaotalk acc, its shocking becase two of my friends are actually in the same school and they are hoobae and sunbae in their club! My other friend is younger than me but in Korea we are in the same age. They are all nice and they are shocked that I know many things about korea even the places, culture and some words, we also exchanged some daily news about ourselves. And we've been friends for 2 years now and still ongoing~
From what I know, he never really learned the word "mahal" as in expensive since I was with him the whole time he stayed in Manila.. :) I was simply helping him remember what he learned. (His affirmation to this can be shown at how he nodded his head after I said the phrase!)

I didn't think not all Korean who went here to learn english is poor (I just want to clarify it here) because i have a friend who is working in academy where they offer english class to foreigner (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish etc...) And mostly her students are rich, like some ambassador and some actor and actress's child. It's just confidential to tell others that they are indeed someone like that but she tell me about it and met some of them. Haha. So yeah. Not all of them but most of them maybe poor but they are some who choose Philippines because of the convenient and because of the country itself. Because we can't change the fact that english capabilities of some school here in the Philippines is like the other country in the US and Western Countries (Because some of the teachers are from the US and Western Countries lol.) So yeah.🙂

I read an article awhile ago about experiences of Filipinos who work in Korea and according to her a great number of Koreans look down on the Philippines and Filipinos. Filipino workers are given thr lowest wage and are told not to reveal that they are from the Philippines because it will raise eyebrows among koreans.
Most Korean did not understand pacific peoples and their culture. Of couse I am a Korean. I have never learn about Pacific countries and their peoples in school. so Most Korean absolutely did not understand pacific islands people and their culture at all.

I didn't think not all Korean who went here to learn english is poor (I just want to clarify it here) because i have a friend who is working in academy where they offer english class to foreigner (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish etc...) And mostly her students are rich, like some ambassador and some actor and actress's child. It's just confidential to tell others that they are indeed someone like that but she tell me about it and met some of them. Haha. So yeah. Not all of them but most of them maybe poor but they are some who choose Philippines because of the convenient and because of the country itself. Because we can't change the fact that english capabilities of some school here in the Philippines is like the other country in the US and Western Countries (Because some of the teachers are from the US and Western Countries lol.) So yeah.🙂

I read an article awhile ago about experiences of Filipinos who work in Korea and according to her a great number of Koreans look down on the Philippines and Filipinos. Filipino workers are given thr lowest wage and are told not to reveal that they are from the Philippines because it will raise eyebrows among koreans.

Most Korean did not understand pacific peoples and their culture. Of couse I am a Korean. I have never learn about Pacific countries and their peoples in school. so Most Korean absolutely did not understand pacific islands people and their culture at all.

Is there a large number of Koreans that speak fluent tagalog in the Philippines or its still a small amount? Here in Los Angeles a lot of the Chinese are fluent in Spanish due to the large number of Mexican customers.
yup... since many Koreans are easily adapting here in our country...you know Filipinos are friendly and approachable( not all though ^.^ )
not only Koreans also other nationalities since the alphabet we use is an English alphabet the only difference is the accent and intonations... our language is a bit influenced by Spanish language since they've colonized us for over 400 years ( I think ) until Americans and Japanese invade us, well that's why and I must say its hard to learn this language unless you have some pinoys around you to converse with ...

I don't easily tell them that i'm a k-pop fan since not all Koreans are k-pop fans. During conversations, I tend to keep the topic about themselves! Honestly speaking, Koreans aren't the easiest people to be friends with (in the Philippines at least), but as long as you have the motivation and good intentions, it won't be as hard~ ^^ Haha kaya mo yan!

Its not the same.. Garlic rice is basically cooked rice top with garlic seasoned with salt and pepper.. And garlic fried is a fried rice you to sauté the rice..
