Wow! This game was insane! I was sure Marakar was going to win for the majority of this replay but then Size managed to turn it around in the last 7 minutes. It's absolutely crazy. He was getting wrecked by nukes, Migs, EMPs and carpets but somehow he survived. It just goes to show how powerful GLA is. You can survive everything like a cockroach. Even a bazillion nukes.
An amazing game. A shame Nuclear Missles are so underpowered compared to Scud Storms. They don't do as much damage and have a longer recharge. If one Nuclear Missle could wipe a market or two a scud storm. This game would have been completely different.
What a game, expert tank vs stealth is a Christmas miracle. The constant back and forth until the end, insane emp hits, the mayhem never stops. What a treat, great content.
This. We saw how much success he had when he started breaching Size's defenses with Emperors. Should have started doing that much earlier, when Size only had one Scud Storm. Another massive mistake - he totally forgot he could make Lotus. Apart from that, great game from both players. One think I don't like is this map though. If has loads of cash available and is soo bunkery at the same time. That is not a good combination. Yes, it makes for long replies, but games are a little bit like AoD. This replay same thing - for about 25 minutes out of 40 we basically watched AoD - Size defending against wave after wave of flamers and migs while waiting for his Scuds to go up. PS of course, this is not criticism of Dominator choosing the replay, it is criticism of the map. Perhaps a redo of the map would be good, make it more wide with less pronounced chokepoints.
I am not convinced that would gives him win but probably helps in this match. Gatling turret provide detection. If I would be GLA, I would make hijackers to more steal dragons and ECM than use scramble on them. ECM are very good in combination with Jarmen, hijackers.
Nuke needs to be the strongest SW, period. I mean it is just bonkers - in real world, particle cannon doesn't even exist and 9 scud rockets can destroy maybe 3 buildings, while a nuke annihilates a whole city
Marakar is going with modified hexadecimal system to label the nukes: so number 10 would be "3", and number 100 would simply be "0e" instead of writing 3 digits
General tank hackers are very expensive, build slowly, and die quickly; on the contrary, GLA places are hard to kill for tank general and easily built. Therefore, I think the best solution for this is to allow tank general to build at least 5 replaceable oils. I think the map is amazing because it's strange and cool. Maps like these break the boredom of watching regular maps. I don't agree with those who criticized the map. I think it's a creative and brilliant map and I hope to see more creative maps like these in the future.
I think if at about mid-game Maraka focused on building up once the scuds were down, sending only small amounts of units for harassment and instead building up a beefy army and saving his nukes, he could've fired them all off at once and then rolled in with a larger army, one consisting of more than just flamers- as effective as those are.
Marakar should make more airfields and more migs. With the line of flametanks migs can destroy everything and move to scuds. And ofcourse few nuke strikes can prevent GLA from strinking by buggies at far points of his base.
Size really is my favourite player, I love the way he plays lol. I reckon nuke would be balanced if it was exactly the same, but if it puts a GLA building to the hole, the hole simply dies with the building. Marakar was definitely playing this game better than size, 6 nukes should be far more devastating. If that was just 2 or 3 scuds or particles instead of 6 or 7 nukes, they'd have had so much more effect.

Size is a stubborn player as i see his games for years. Size took the disadvantage vs the tank general and with good tactics (and alot of casualties) he managed to hit maraka's base in the end.
[Spoilers] Oof. What a painful demonstration of how powerful GLA holes are against nukes. Also just how strong SiZe is at clinging onto a game. There's a couple SCUD storms you missed in there, and honestly I think if SiZe had hit the CC/production first rather than the oils, they could've probably set off that final collapse faster. Same goes for Marakar though...that final retarget of the nukes to carpet and lock down the tunnels and the maneuverability of the fragile buggies finally let them break ground, but it was much too late by the point they stopped trying to hit markets and guess where stealthed scuds were.
I feel like nukes are more specialized at killing fast moving units and army, compared to scud storms and particle cannons, but ofc they are no good in late game
zero hour was one of my favorite games in my childhood, randomly discovered your channel and started downloading the game and started playing again. played through the campaing again and did some skirmishes against AI, but nevertheless i kinda got hooked by your videos, i really enjoy watching them. I have noticed that you keep saying "GLA with power is op", would you explain wdym by that? i dont really see what advantage GLA gets by having power, i guess its probably a really nooby question, but i am really curious, its aching me that i cant get my mind behind it. thx and cheers
Power for GLAs is overestimated not op. It is useful especially as your gaming level are increasing but overestimated. Like supertech. It is stereotypical thinking and repeating one sentence without any reflection if its true. Its better to have infantry general's barracks or any airfield.
there should be a nuke for like 50k that kills everything on the map like a real nuke would. so like if you know you're losing you can at least take the enemy with you
I think Maraka had to deal a bit earlier with Size economy he played better overall. I wish the game was a bit more balanced nuclears seems to be just too weak compared to rest of the super weapons.
Gotta be Game of 2022, game went back and forth, and I thought for sure Marakar would win. The game kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire game.

There was a game that’s even better than this one it was between size and Fargo , I guess Fargo streamed it on his deleted channel it lasted more than 40 minutes last 8 minutes of them were a like chess game Fargo got 1 vet 3 lix and size got 3 units 1stolen ecm , a battle bus and a third unit that I can’t remember it was an absolute mental breakdown for both players almost like a stalemate I wish someone can find the file and send it to domi
@@DoMiNaToR3 I checked gentool it wasn’t there unfortunately it was on 3rd of may , Fargo was tox , size was China and it was played on natural threats probably if you were downloading the files at the time they were spamming bet challenges I assume that you might have it
Tank deserved to lose. Camping with nukes and mindlessly spamming flamers only is a regression in the game's skill level. People actually played better 2-3 years ago.
This game was so poor and if not interesting endgame I should call this worst game I ever seen. Size's play was very boring, schematic as usual and predictable like cheapest action movie.

Nuke needs stronger radiation that damages buildings. And it needs to exchange recharge time with scud because scud doesnt need power.
