FateUnknown had said that we are not getting anything after Kombat Pack 2. Right after Kombat Pack 2 the game is finished. DLCs in MK1 release longer anyways so I wouldn’t be surprised if they finished after Kombat Pack 2.

For example: Mortal kombat 9: Kratos as a PlayStaion exclusive character and Freddy Krueger as a horror icon. Mortal Kombat X: Jason Voorhees and Leatherface Slaughter as horror icons and Predator and Alien as 80’s action Sci-Fi characters. Mortal Kombat 11: The Terminator, RoboCop, and Rambo as 80’s action heroes and The Joker and Spawn as comic book antiheroes. Mortal Kombat 1: Omni-Man, Peacemaker, and Homelander as comic book antiheroes who are from streaming series (Amazon Prime Video and HBO Max). I think Mortal Kombat 1 should be focusing on getting more comic book antiheroes who are from streaming series (Amazon Prime Video and HBO Max). But if Doom Slayer does ever get into the game, I think video game antiheroes could be the next guest character theme for the next Mortal Kombat game.
