I got an error from the application manager saying This runtime application file was saved in a protected format that does not allow conversion to a development application
I have an issue with a 8.2 mer version, I can't restore runtime application, the version of my Factorytalk view is 11.00.00, how can I solve this issue?
Had a First Today. Edited (added three Buttons) an existing copy of a Mer. that is currently loaded on HMI 6 Version, when I downloaded the New Runtime to the HMI and opened the file at the terminal my new Buttons were not there. FactoryTalk View ME Version 8, set up Runtime in Version 6...
Hi sir I just want to ask what the APB file is for and why it can't be opened in FactoryTalk ME. Should I really use FactoryTalk SE to open the APB file?
what can i do if i have an aplication that was created in an old version (4.0) and if i trying to create the runtime in FTV 7.0, i can upload it but i can´t create the runtime?
It is not possible to restore a v4.0 MER file; that feature started with v5.0. However, you can restore the APA file. Note that the tag database conversion utility needs to be used if restoring to v6.10 or higher. You may not have enough free space available on the PanelView terminal once the app is loaded. To check the amount of available flash, load the app and then click Terminal Settings > System Information > Terminal Information > Memory Allocation. It is also possible that the application you are loading is corrupted. If there's an easy and a difficult way to do it, Rockwell Automation will always choose the most difficult way to do it. ALWAYS!!!

Does this Upload help me to reload the program on the screen in case of a failure in the HMI?
Someone from Rockwell will get back to you shortly...... A month later and still waiting....... Ok ok I give up. I'll just switch to C-MORE !!!
Will it be applicable for PanelView C300??

But what can I do if I see "screens loading" message on the panel, but it never loads?
