Okay, so I didn't think of Emma being Alice in Wonderland before but NOW I DO. You're right, it just seems perfect! And now to chronicle my feelings. If I can. I am having SO MANY. Ugh, this is just so perfect ... and gorgeous ... all of the parallels and the wonderful of OUAT + the wonderful of Disney ... it's just my new favourite thing. Years later when the show is done' It's still as real as it once was... Watching this my brain connected it as what must've been running through Emma's head during season 1 / until she finally grasped that her life was a literal fairy-tale and would likely never return to normalcy. Surely even in the foster system Emma must've encountered the classic Disney portrayals of their stories, and honestly when put into perspective, its not at all shocking that she didn't believe for so long. It's not everyday when your childhood fictions and fantasies become your reality is it? Great video, especially for something made back in 2012.
