Fun fact. If you are flying a helicopter and your tail rotor stops or is shot out. Try to point the nose down at a reasonable angle. If you get up to high enough speed. The helicopter will balance out and stop spinning. But keep the nose down or you will loose speed and start spinning again. Landing without a tail rotor is hard but not impossible.
When landing. Your best chance is to hard bank to the left or right depending on the situation. Say you are flying north and want to land. Bank left and pull the nose so it’s facing west as you roll the aircraft to the left. While you are doing this decrease the throttle so you descend toward the ground. Did I mention you want to be fairly low to the ground before you start this maneuver? I’d say at the highest be 200m above ground. You want to land as quickly as possible from the moment you pull to the left as you still don’t have a tail rotor and will resume spinning if you don’t land quick enough
