Been following for years and honestly I’m baffled as to why more people aren’t sub into the channel!!!! It’s unreal your content is amazing, the editing has got to a point that it’s super professional, your upfront with every aspect of your builds/projects/reviews! Keep it up 👍 love the channel. People don’t know what they are missing out on! I’d say setup a few videos with some of the big fish guys on RUclips piggy back a little no shame at all but the subs will roll in your channel has the best diy build content out here! It’s quality as they come!
Looking sweet. Watching you load that thing into your toy hauler was awesome! How about adding 6" foam filled gunnels and connecting it to the side of the boat for a boat collar?
Get the 9.9. I have had a lot of weight all my gear three people while towing someone on a surfboard and it went slow maybe 10mph but was fine. 9.9 runs fine with just me but now rises a lot right before plane but with my trolling motor on the front makes it drive even better having that weight up front. With my wife and I and trolling motor, Bimini top and gear boat does 18 in less than perfect conditions. When I tow her in a tube does 14 to 16 depending on water conditions.
I have a tracker topper 1232w, I run a DT15c Suzuki and it is the perfect motor for the boat. Extremely stable while underway and speeds of 23mph with 2 people
I think once you switch back to the lithium batteries it'll definitely change your mind on the stability, just because of the weight difference. I would love to do this to my 12' plastic John though.
I have a 12x36 with a 1991 15hp evinrude I can run 26-28 mph I’ve hit 30 with a good current. It handles the 15hp no problem. I’ve actually had me 170lbs and 2 of my buddies which are both around 210lbs with all of our duck hunting gear. It’s a little sketchy that loaded but handles just me and a buddy and all our gear perfectly. Only issue I’ve ran into with the 12ft is the ribs of the boat aren’t as beefed up as a 14ft so I have had 2 cracked ribs that I had to get repaired.
Why Pronav, the i-pilot upgrade kit is $200 less and comes with a remote and has the minn kota app, it also does all the same features that pronav does... also they make a i-pilot version from the factory for $1100
Just run a 15hp on a 12fter and you will be good on power. Also go with a wider boat. Im not sure why you guys dont just spilt one these hulls and widen it, with all the stuff you guys do to these boats. Also, the powerdrive can be stored in the up position for easy deployment on the water. Thats what the release on the front is for. When in the upright, locked position, you can release the catch and manualy pull the motor straight up to run through shallow water.

Love to see this with your DIY side foam float pods (boat collars)... It will be so much more stable and likely able to put a larger outboard on it.
The Ford is looking boss bro. Compliments the work you do on your builds
Love the Tiny Boat Mike that thang is KILLA!!!!
That reservoir looks a lot like Pueblo Reservoir in Colorado with all of the rock type structure and super clear water. Boat also looks awesome!
Yep, if Mike didn’t have family in Havasu Pueblo would be a perfect place for him.
My terrova had autopilot that would follow a heading and adjust for wind, but no spot lock. That app is dope.

Great video

Right though, get rid of that weight and it's like you got rid of a second person in your boat
awesome thanks for the content

Do you have good battery life with that
But they sell a powerdrive with spotlock too?

I was going to comment the same thing. I was able to upgrade my powedrive V1 to auto pilot with spotlock for $500, with a v2 board and the Ipilot kit
Put float pods on the back and the 9.9. I have a 1236 with a 18hp long tail and can hit 24 by myself. 😁
That sounds sketchy as hell😂
@@willmoren4968 I’ve only sunk it once 🤣.
What happened to the mercy

No, not on this one. Thats insane.
Float pods
It's why I take my plate off my trailer and keep it inside my truck.
Probably handle weight better if it was a Lowe 1240 tho more expensive and harder to find these days.
