This is a guess here but that week leading up to the game they all wore white or gray for the most. I think that’s because both teams have the same primary colors, Red and Gold/Yellow. This was the first Super Bowl where that happened and knowing the NFL they didn’t know how to handle it so they made everyone wear sweatpants. At least they saved money on the confetti
