Thank you! Yes, there are some freewheel unicycles with a freewheel hub, and there are unicycles with disk or rim brakes. A freewheel unicycle can have both a freewheel hub and a brake. It's amazing!

It's a freewheel hub, and unicyclists basically build the uni around the hub. Look up freewheel unicycles and you'll be surprised what you can find!
