Another fan from South Africa here. I definitely have the curved neck issue. My heart rate increases after eating mostly though. Is there a stretch that can ease pressure on the vagus nerve?
Do you have any videos on chiari and syringomyelia? I have both and all my symptoms started in 2008... I have so many of the symptoms you're talking about in the videos I've seen so far but drs just keep telling me I have anxiety.
I was just released from the hospital and no one could figure what was wrong with me. One dr in the hospital told me of the condition and I couldn't hear him (because of wearing the mask), now seeing this it explains what is going on with me, and the terminology he was telling me. I need to pay a visit . I have ligamentous laxity and cervical instability from a blindside auto accident in 2018. the head aches and tachycardia episodes are rough, and when my ICD goes off and I am awake to feel, it hurts
I have a bad neck and when I move my neck it gives me heart palpitations. I have seen a cardiologist and the structure of my heart is good . I tell them I think it's my neck but they all say it's nothing to do with it . I have a very slow heart beat under 60 . I don't know what to do it's driving me crazy
My mom is scheduled for shoulder replacement surgery on December 15th. She heard her doctor tell the nurse that one of her muscles has rigor mortis so they will have to do a reverse shoulder replacement. I could only find one document about rigor mortis in a living person. Could rigor mortis in her muscle be caused by the vagus nerve?
Dr Hausser, please could you tell me what that exact brand name is for the EC monitor? I live in the UK and where can I get this? Thank you in advance.
Hi Dr Hauser. I wanted to buy the small device that you mentioned in this video but when I contacted the company, they quoted “Unfortunately, Kardia products do not calculate Heart Rate Variability”. Can you explain how you use the device for this purpose please? I need to buy a device that can show HRV as soon as possible. Thank you for your videos.
Would you happen to know of anyone in central texas who you could recommend? I have a reverse curve in my neck, ligament damage and problems with c4-c7. I also have arrythmias when I turn my neck a certain way and sometimes it also feels like my trachea or esophagus maybe, like its pulling or tugging. Its so scary when it happens, but as soon as I change position, it stops. I would like to get some help, hopefully you can recommend someone.
Hi Angela, We treat patients with MCAS, usually it is among many diagnoses that the person has. Upon the detailed case review, we have to put it into context of a person's whole case and if they seem like they would respond well to a treatment like Prolotherapy. It is not something that would disqualify someone on its own tho. Hope that helps.
@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Thank you, BUT wondering, though, about the reaction of the slight inflammation caused by the prolotherapy in combination with the systemic internal inflammation that can be caused by mcas. Would there be an increase in overall inflammation? Assuming from your answer, your mcas patients haven't had an issue?
@@AngelaGWillis Hi Angela, It has not been an issue, but also Prolotherapy is not just for everyone with cervicovagopathy-related issues. We have a detailed case review process and assessment to help us better understand if coming to our center would be a good fit for someone. We cannot say how other centers do it or if they would consider MCAS to automatically disqualify someone. We do not, but it is not to say that every person who has MCAS is a good candidate either. There are many aspects of each case that are taken into consideration. Wish you all the best!
@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy I know you treat a lot of people with EDS/hEDS and Dysautonomia. They go hand in hand with MCAS and that is why I asked. Four out of five of my family has that trifecta, in addition to co-morbidities and very pronounced hereditary kyphosis. Thank you for your reply.
Are you kidding me you are literally right next to them…. I travel from Los Angeles all the way across the country and there’s a lot of people who travel from all over the world… you must not be in that bad of a condition!
This could be related to a vagus nerve injury in which Prolotherapy could be a treatment option for you! We’d love to help get you in for an exam and consult - give us a call!
Uhhh I think you just solved a lifelong mystery...! At age 21 I had a syncope w/severe concussion and shoulder injury. Hours later the hospital monitors caught a cardiac anomoly -- Long QT, never again replicated. Sounds like the vagus/heart connection could have gotten jostled that day! Possible vagal problems ever since!
@@TraumaStage for sure bro I just had my second treatment on Nov 24th ….still a little sore since I treat my TMJ, Cervical and Upper back. Also I have a straight neck almost reversed curve getting treated with weights. I should of know better I don’t see how cracking your neck will help regain your proper curve.

Thank you so well presented! RN. Jenny ….Johannesburg, South Africa. 🇿🇦
I had my atlas bone adjusted and my heart issues and other aliments disappeared. Amazing how everything is connected to the spine.
What do you think would happen if you cut the heart off from the rest of the nervous system? Do you think the heart
would slow down, or speed up?

Hi Swarnaa L Uthayashankar- It is the KardiaMobile personal EKG device. Hope that helps. Take care.
Have you ever treated someone post AVM surgery, where AVM was involved with c1-6…?
What about mitral valve regurgitation?

Can this be the cause of ectopic beats or pvc?

Why not go see a chiropractor?
Lesson learned never let a chiropractor manipulate your neck! They ruined my life! Now am getting prolotherapy!
@@valdo4842 I agree there the neck is nothing to play around with last time I went to a chiropractor I let him adjust my back and that was about it
