Even though I loved Freddie (and the boys) with long hair the best, I have to admit he was so very handsome here. Great song, wonderful performance. By the way, In My Defense is fantastic too.
Dave Clarke says in an interview, that he didn't want to release it because of the Bohemian Rhapsody film, he didn't want either the film or the record overshadowed by the other. He just wanted people to feel what he did when Freddie sang with just Mike Moran at the piano, he said that he had goose bumps and even though the big production number Time was good, he felt the stripped back version was better.
Yes, Dave Clark is a real nice guy and was a good friend to Freddie. The piano player is Mike Moran, another good friend of Freddie's. Mike also collaborated with Freddie on the Barcelona album. Here's the interview that Dave Clark did about this video. Dave Clark tells us about Time Waits For No One - The Unreleased Freddie Mercury Song ruclips.net/video/IVETzK4msro/видео.html
This is a beautiful song & performance. You MUST 😚 do in my defense. Same show. The emotion is unbelievable, such beautiful sentiment & the end rips my heart out.
The incomparable Freddie Mercury....that man had ONE HELL OF A VOICE .....He sang with an other-wordly passion , and power that you could literally feel in every note....I can name only a Very small number of singers in History that have possessed that magic charisma. There will never be another like him.
I really like your Queen reaction videos. Also, it's good to see father and son doing this together. Queen, especially Freddy, really were amazing talents! Looking forward to hopefully more Queen. Thanks again!
When this was released as this version, it genuinely sent chills to my core, I'd heard "Time" before now,m but this was just an open doorway into Freddie's soul, not ashamed to say I cried first time hearing this, but it was in awe of how beautiful of a song it as and the sheer raw power of Freddie's voice, as well as sadness that he had to go when he did, but again on that, being thankful that forever now, the world will always remember the legend that was Freddie. Also, on another note, I love how you guys Genuinely go in depth with research, analysis, and genuine discussions on the songs you do, so many don't bother, but in that, you show you both care for the music and the artist(s) who create it. :)
The original vocal track was lost in a music vault and only found at the end of 2017. Dave then worked on it and Mike Moran re recorded the piano accompaniment. Here's a fantastic clip of Dave explaining how it was achieved ruclips.net/video/IVETzK4msro/видео.html
I believe Dave Clark found it late 2017 when the film was just about to be announced. So he waited til 2019 to release it. Thanks for researching facts too! It always adds to your reviews now!
Mike Moran is more than a session pianist. He is a composer of many famous TV themes and songs (not to mention Barcelona and other FM songs). Interestingly, Dave Clarke was with Freddie when he died.
Joan Burnley yes the guys need to review that. One of my favorites always. Just Freddie and the piano “Right now I’m gonna do a pretty special song, this is a new song from our forthcoming album, it hasn’t quite been recorded yet” 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 “You gotta listen to this one” 👂🏼👂🏼
You have to react to Brian May ‘God Save The Queen’ on the top of Buckingham Palace. He played the British national anthem on the top of the roof of the palace during the queen’s birthday. I was lucky to be in the crowd. It was awesome.
Actually Dave Clark was pulling together a stage show TIME.Dave asked Freddie to be part of the production, which Freddie teasingly said he would be glad to participate, appeared one night I think.. The show ran for a year with many notables in it, including John Lennon's son and Stevie Wonder . I'm taking this comment down after you've had a chance to read it. Google Dave Clark, TIME You'll get much about Freddie and Dave Clark
@@heyjude1920 Thanks, this Dave Clark/Freddie interview is one of my favorite these days..seen it several times and will look again after posting this. I've seen a YT video of Freddie singing with Cliff Richards (I think I'm right on the name) on stage for one of the performances. And learned it was the only time Freddie did perform live... and many commenters so wished they had been there that night. Its terrible audio and film but it happened that night. I'll try to find it again. Also will revisit the DC interview...thanks for the link. HEY! Watching Dave with QUEEN making that last album, I decided Dave may have accompanied Freddie to the studio - his caring friend, Notice Dave keeps a watchful eye on Freddie and those working with Freddie.
Hey Jude ... and really, I do believe that Dave Clark was actually with Freddie as he slipped away. Phoebe and Mary and the others had left for a bit because they didn’t think the end was imminent. Dave just happened to be the one there.

I can't stop listen to this song. I need help. Freddie and his voice is like a drug.
Freddie sang with his whole body & soul.
Freddie was a short lived gift to this world. So talented. So much charisma. Voice of an angel.

Mr Bad Guy was the one and only solo album Freddy recorded. this song is titled "Time Waits For Nobody".
This song is beautiful. You need to listen to Freddie sing How Can I Go On. Solo
