120 seems insane. I'm still in the middle of Season 2 and there is no way I can save up 120 even though I have 20 saved up already.

As someone who is completely f2p and pretty new to the game. How do you earn crystals to buy heliolite gems and how do i earn heliolite gems in general? Like whenever I can earn them I do but I don’t really get that many
You get them from all over the place. Doing Vortex Daily, being in an alliance and collecting alliance Rally rewards, doing commissions daily, doing events, arena, fey meander, random chests on the map etc. Wyrmarrow is basically everywhere.
I understand that this event is for business and that is what management does.
They only look at the mess and the specials; they don't want to change the boring season that is S3, they are just looking for sales.
They are currently in the middle of a big merger so things are a bit messy for now. However, the future looks promising cause of it. Regarding the business, of course they're trying to make money, it's a business at the end of the day ! 😅

Now I need to decide if I want to go for Flora, Hivtar, or Nat……decisions decisions decisions.
I knew I was saving my heliolites for something. I didn't know what, but it just felt right to do lmao. I am currently sitting on 86 heliolite dice (most of which is wymarrow) and I can totally manage 120 by the time the event arrives. Especially if they give us 9 more just for summoning.

Let me get this right, so if we want a specific hero, on the special banners they have now there are 9 legends in them so we have a 1 in 9 chance (about 11% chance) which improves each time we do not get the one we want. This new event on average it is a 1 in 15 chance to get the one we want (about 6.6%) so we have about 50% WORSE chance to get the hero we want......
I don't get this company at all.
I guess they want us to summon 120 times so we can get a bunch of the same faction but usually at season 3 we are only going to be going for a specific hero and this is NOT going to be the way to get it. I might spend 10 if there is an epic I need but since pity never rolls over it is a huge waste towards legend pity I could be putting toward the regular banner or saving for next season summon session.
Maybe I am missing something but I rate this event about a 2/10 if my calculations are correct. Keep trying though devs, maybe one day you will make a good summon event.
Season 3 you only go for specific heroes if you're a krakken. I for one have been playing for 4 seasons and I spend some money in the game + get CC rewards and I still don't have the commodity to be able to go for only 1 specific hero. I will be going for the poison banner hopping to get Lothair, Oggok, Ergander, Malak, Reytha, Twitch... should I keep going? YES they are going to do some business decision, buy this one is not like the blessed banners and I personally like.
This is way to much for regular players, no way!

All these events only put the whales farther ahead of F2P people.
F2P will NEVER be able to catch-up with whales, so it doesn't really matter 😅
