It been quite a while that I have been paying for my expenses with my credit cards. You can only go so far. I really appreciate you and the others peoples fighting for us. I really appreciate your support. Please and thanks again

I live in Coquitlam, and I work a part time job and with my disability, I can barely afford Rent, Food and my bills to live. I feel like the Government has turned their backs on us. We are pretty much the 1 out of 4 Canadians Jagmeet mentioned that are going hungry and the liberals and conservatives laughed at the situation. It made me cry when I heard our own government finds our suffering a joke. There are Canadians who are on disability who are homeless living on East Hastings Street because they can't work and their money from disability isn't enough. My sister who lives on the island gets her disability income cut off during the winter because she makes slightly over the annual amount, but in the end her paycheck is not enough to live with through the winter. We need help, all of us! When your only allowed to make around $15 000 a year from work and disability only gives you around $16 000 a year and society says you need at least $36 000 to $40 000 to live, it doesn't work. we need at least $1600 a month for disability and ease up on the allotted amount we are allowed to make from work.

Your speech was so right. Its said you can only get this disability if it every passes that you can only get it up till the age of 64. So at 65 my disability goes away ( I wish ) but it will not be the case . I have been physical disable for 30 years and could not work. If you stop this Disability Benefit at age 64, I asked is that not a FORM OF DISCRIMINATION for Disable People. Only having OAS and GIS to live on is impossiable if you were unable to work And No Disable Canadian should feel that they are chooseing "MAID"" which stands for Medical Assistance in Dying, chooseing DEATH TO GET OUT OF LIVING IN POVERTY is JUST WRONG . And if the Bill gets pass will it go back 3 years when the Government first brought it to the floor in 2020 and the Disable Canadians. We wait and wait.

The Liberal government has taken my dignity I feel shame everyday because I became homeless my children have no pride in their mother I've worked my whole life The pandemic destroyed my company took my job I'm an entertainer and as you well know it's an entertainment through the pandemic got crushed I have nothing now, I can't even get my unemployment insurance because the province will take it dollar for dollar they say it's double dipping how is it double dipping when I didn't benefit from that money I gave it to the government just in case I lost my job now I have so all I have to rely on is disability and $497 for rent you're not finding it so I'd like to see the criteria eligibility for this I'll and I'll bet you there's something in there that says you have to have the disability tax credit certificate there's thousands of us that don't and the federal government does not see us unless we have that certificate so I'm not going to hold my breath that any of us without the disability tax certificate gets anything how the provincial government can say we are disabled but the federal government says nowhere not is beyond me how they can change the actual meaning of that word is beyond me so if there's even becomes law I will be shocked and amazed but something tells me there's going to be real strict stipulations and eligibility criteria in it where thousands of us on disability won't be able to receive it or will have to pay it back or something or it gets deducted off our provincial one I don't know it'll be something with this liberal government they're sneaky
