No dear you don't need atm card to open account but when you want to add bank account at that point in case you haven't set upi pin before then you will need atm card to set up UPI pin ...if upi pin already set earlier using bhim then you don't need atm at all ....

@@MakeKnowledgeFree Yes, I can send money even after disabling the sim card linked to the bank acc. I think only the sim card linked to bank acc requires internet during OTP and linking bank acc. After that, you just need that sim to be in phone, I disabled it, still I can use GPay
for sending any money from the bank via upi interface ( like google pay , phonepe ) , you need to set its upi pin which can be done through this app itself or through BHIM
you should use the number registered with banks ...that's how you can add those banks else you can't and if you can't add a bank there is no point having a gpay account

its a term used loosely ...actually UPI pin is the the password you have put in anytime you make a UPI transaction using linked upi bank ...for example say i use BHIM application to send money, i shall need a upi pin for the bank account .....
go to add bank account , select saraswat bank .... all your accounts with saraswat bank account with Google pay number shall appear .....you may decide to add any 1 or all if them .....if this is the first time you are doing .you will need the debit card and atm pin for setting upi pin

sometimes bank allow this to be done online or through calls or ATM ...for example , for my bank which happens to be ICICI , it is easily possible through ATM .....so that way you don't need to go to bank ...check whether any such option is possible for your bank ...once number is registered with bank , you can open gpay with the number and link bank

I think , MobiKwik has a UPI interface. All Mobikwik customers can use UPI to add money into their wallet. They have services such as fund transfer using debit/credit card, net banking, cash pickup and cash deposit...

if your number is linked to bank account in your name, you should be able to use it ...i will advise to delete the app cache /data and give it a fresh try ...see my video on not being able to add bank account once and let me know if it works for you ....else i will try and help you with remote support

creating a account is possible with the number ..... but once account is created you will need to add banks ..... while adding banks having same number you will be needed to put atm pin to set upi pin for the bank .... this will not be possible since you don't have atm pin .....so you can create gpay account but not add bank

There is no wallet system in Google pay so no system of adding money etc ...you can only send or receive money which is send to your primary default bank account which is added in gpay ....simply put therefore without adding bank account you cannot send or receive money ...

I trying to install Google pay but I find difficult to install it. While installation it is asked of Registered mobile number which is linked with my account. I typed that registered mobile number then it's showed that it couldn't register. .please help me
if bank account registered with same number that has been used for creating gpay, then you should be able to register gpay account ...if you can't see my video on possible solutions for this issue

I opened an account on Google Pay yesterday and then asked to link to the bank account there. After I gave my father's phone number, 'Couldn't register' is showing. Then a sms came to my phone number. I did not give my phone number, then how did it happen? I gave my father's phone number, but how did the message come on my phone? What did they do wrong? Though
the number I gave for the register, the sim of the number doesn't belong in the device.

Google pay cannot open in my phone bro its showa your number is not link to your account.. but my number was already linked to my bank account...
clear app cache and retry ...and check in your added payment methods whether bank appears

What to do if my phone is lost and sim card linked to bank is in the phone.
U can contact to ur bank, and tell them the whole scenario and ask them to limit the action gonna happen via ur accnt(temporarily seize the accnt)

Can we add money without adding any bank account
There is no wallet system in Google pay so no system of adding money etc ...you can only send or receive money which is send to your primary default bank account which is added in gpay ....simply put therefore without adding bank account you cannot send or receive money ...
But i tary many time add my acount to google pay but woh bar bar acount number mang raha hai and 14digt ka no bhi dala fir bhi nai ho raha hai

didn't disclose anything ...all pins were changed , all accounts showed are zero balance

Not a scam.... verification process while adding a bank amount involves sending of SMS

if you are adding bank for the first time , you are required to create upi pin ...creation is done with debit card last 6 digits and expiry date ...so nothing to worry
