- Here's Marcos Valle with the classic Rio Boogie track "Estrelar" (Marcos Valle, Paulo Sergio Valle and Leon Ware). It has been released in late 1982 as a 7" single and sold more than 90.000 copies in Brazil. A little later, it appeared on the "Marcos Valle" LP. TV Globo shot this videoclip for its Sunday evening show "Fantástico". It premiered in March 6, 1983. A true symbol of Rio. Now in HD, with stereo sound.

I learned about this song and artist from a Southern Comfort "Whatever's Comfortable" commercial. Very infectious song. Great beat. Although I don't understand most of what's being sung, I love the song.

Esse clipe achei que nunca mais iria ver. Nossa! Eu tinha 11/12 anos. Como eram maravilhosas as músicas de 1983. Ao contrário de hoje: naquela época era raro a gente ouvir uma música de qualidade ruim, mesmo as "bregas" da época, a gente ouvia numa curtição.Tudo era musicalmente eclético e uma festa para nossos ouvidos.
Taí a prova que pode-se colocar pessoas bonitas de corpo, exaltando a beleza, sem cair na vulgaridade, apelação a sexualidade barata e ainda com um belo arranjo musical!
