Good Tutorial. I'm new to ProE. 10 years of Catia V5 experience, 5 years of that as an instructor, and so far I'm finding ProE very counter-intuitive. Finding tut's like this are very beneficial. You do a good job of explaining as you go. Thank you!

I want to thank you for uploading these tutorial videos! I am going to study to be a mechanical engineer at university next year and figured I might as well get a grasp on PRO-E beforehand. I have enjoyed watching all of your videos and learned more than expected. Im excited to get my hands on the software and start playing around with it.

It worked! With "Insert/Shared data/Copy geometry" worked... I have the referance surfaces in my part. Thank you very much!

Thank you. I learn a lot from this vedio. Its high quality movie resolution enable me to have a clear vision on all the button.

Yes that is one way to do it as well. as long as you are on a windows machine, when you are in an assembly, make sure the part you want the reference geometry to show up in is the active part in the assembly. if you need anything else please let me know!

Very useful thank you! Do you or anyone here have any suggestions on a guide on starting surfacing? I have been doing solid modeling for 7 years, but really need to increase my skill to go to the next step of pro-e designing, thanks!

I tried to replicate your methods but i got a problem right from the begining. The paste operation does not work. I activated my part, selected the surfaces from the other part and when I hit ctrl+v i get this message "Cannot copy external reference for this feature." Do you have any idea why i get this message? I inserted both parts in an assembly and fully constrained each one. Any ideas? Thank you
