This Blueberry story is a perfect example of why I'm actually glad that I'm autistic and tend to say what I think. Every time she took the easy way out and let him think she returned his feelings, she encourages him and puts herself in more danger. Never do this! Don't hide your weaknesses. Ask for help when you need it.
I have finally become a "jerk" at 47 because of it. The last fellow I dated, I blocked and ghosted for the first time in my life, and it was 100% necessary. I feel no remorse because wow-not a healthy individual and not the kind of person who was able to tolerate my attempt to end the relationship amicably. I had never felt comfortable doing such a thing previously-even when necessary. He has showed up at my home repeatedly, has sent Christmas and birthday cards. I know it is him at my door because my dog loved him instantly for some reason, so yips and whines versus attacks the windows. I never answer of course. Last month, I accidently forgot to lock up before bed, and woke up to the dog gone, front door ajar, back door wide open. Someone tried to enter at 3am one time, and she went ballistic, waking me up. This time, she did NOT. It makes me think it was you-know-who deciding to be beyond creepy. Fortunately, nothing was missing or out of place. Unfortunately, my neighbor's camera-which is pointed at our side yards and my back door-was not operating at the time. So after several stalkers, I finally realized that yeah-being "polite" is not a good idea with some individuals.
I'm autistic and learned behavior from keen observation, and from unfortunate internalizing of social norms. Unfortunately, I internalized the "girls are nice and always smile" trope. Landed me in several (not too scary) situations with persistent creeps 😥
While I do appreciate a scary story, I hate that people like the "Blueberry" story try to pass it off as real. If it was real and such a harrowing story, you wouldn't write it in such a "story" style with over describing each situation and including emotions in this manner.
I wish the Blueberry story was written better, some of it doesnt make a whole lot of sense, which is ironic, but it could be a seriously compelling thriller short story.
Tbh this blueberry story makes me so mad .... Trauma response: freeze and fawn... But even when she's safe she refuses to call the police... She is lucky to be alive

The first time i heard the blueberry story from another reader I questioned its authenticity. Now after hearing it a second time, I'm almost certain its a fictional story. It's written too much in a novel narration style, and there's too many small details that wouldnt be remembered years later regarding events that would've supposedly happened over a span of years.
And then there's people like me, who have never had any type of home invasion or traumatic experience and still always felt the need to keep my home and car locked down like fort Knox.
It’s better to learn from others mistakes then not and have to learn the hard way ourselves. I lock my house down like Fort Knox too but I was stalked by a weirdo when I was 17 so now I know to always be on safe side and keep things locked up and security cameras rolling.
Y'all are all smarter than me. I've lived in a couple of places were the locks were useless. Someone tried to open my car door while stopped at a red light otw home from work, other time, I'm at home by myself and a young guy, maybe early 20's opened my screen door and attempted to open front door, thankfully I keep them locked. This incident at home was only a week ago, my husband and I live in a nice neighborhood and would never think someone would have gone to front door and attempt to open door. I always keep a handgun or shotgun near, so if he was successful getting in front door, he wouldn't have made it out alive, it's just the thought of it!
If the first story is true, it's unimaginable to me how a girl can be so weak and negligent to her own life and physical well-being! The girl in the first story was beyond negligent to herself! My God! Zero survival instincts! She's really lucky to be alive! I hope she changed for her own good.
It is sad that you can't see beyond your upbringing, atmosphere and an understanding of others to the point of thinking it has to be fake. People are all different and are products of their environment which of course is why everyone is different

the blueberry story was crazy as hell and felt like i was listening to a horror audiobook. i see people doubting that it’s real but i really believe that it is. shit like that happens. i also think that she wrote it in such a novel manner because it had been years since it happened so she was able to process everything and understand how everything made her feel and then put it into words. ps. i thought this was at first gonna be about this kid at my high school because we had someone nick named “blueberry” too but that was in 2014. threw me off for a second lmao.
If it had been years, the small details of what she was thinking in the moments, the movements she made, and even the food she ate would've been a distant memory. Even traumatizing events go blurry with time, and you can remember the basic event but not so many little details of so many years of things that had occurred. I really don't think it's a true story, it just doesn't read as genuine, there's too much novel narration.

i really appreciate the fact you block out curse words. I also like the true scary nature of the stories you narrate without guts horror. I like being scared, not 🤢 barfing. You are the only one with these qualities. Nice background ambience and light creepy music. GREAT JOB!
To the Blueberry story lady, YOU CAN CALL THE COPS AT ANY TIME! TELL THEM, YOU'RE HIGH SCHOOL STALKER IS BACK, TELL HIM TO LEAVE! Stories like these piss me off so damn much! He's not a wounded animal you can help, he's a stalker and crazy to boot! Call the cops!
Easy easy, I know the writer claims truth, but come on.
You have an amazing voice for narration but a few of the stories left me confused
Yeah that do hit close to home
The story about Blueberry. Damn.
First storywas devastating. 😢😢😢
That girl that was going to follow that guy to pick a kitten ... She is SO lucky her dad showed up when he did. Especially since he was supposed to be working that day and just happened to take the day off to surprise his family
Ohhhh yesss
"Hey dude, I'd keep those breaths shallow." 😂 I'm dead.
I am curious why the guy say that for 😂😂
Cool voice
If you have a 2a loving neighbor whom happens to hold some creep thats sneaking around your childs bedroom window at gunpoint thank them lol .. here in Mississippi that person would of got blasted so fast 😅 its crazy to think we actually have weirdos who would stalk and hurt children. One of the main reasons im so so protective over my children..
Blueberry ends at 37:10
I'm crying hard too
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE REST STOP STORY?! I’m literally sobbing laughing 😂
