I want anything you would like to choose for me, it's a dream for me to get even one of high end bikes, I would love anything at this point to be honest.
White with red decals as red, white and black are my go to combination on bikes. Just love that color combination so much. As a regular rider, even 105 is more than enough as I do not always need full spec since all I really care is going around with my mates to places and spending time together and I do not need marginal gains 😊
Fortunately don’t need an e-bike just yet myself but had to try my luck for my dad. He’s 68 and always super keen to come out on rides with me, always been my biggest supporter 🤞
I have a 2020/21 version of the bike and I love it. It doesn't look like an e-bike, with the system off it rides like normal bike and really doesn't do anything for you. If anything it help me grow as a stronger rider. I even used it for a week as a city commuter and there's noting quite like it that I've ridden.
Firstly, GCN and the gang, thank you for all you do. I've learned so much about cycling only by watching GCN videos and listening to you. In regard to the Orbea M10i, WOW, what a bike! Whoever was lucky enough to win this, I'm jealous. For me, Lichen Green with a matte finish accompanied with Metallic Speed Silver and finished with Gravel tires (tyres) and a Prologo Scratch M-5 seat.
I recently bought a BMC Roadmachine Amp which uses the same Mahle X20 hub drive system. It works very well, and is recommended! makes my hilly commute a dream. I am getting in excess of 140 km range with over 3000m of climbing with the 350 wh battery. 4000 m seems a bit optimistic but Orbea have dialled the low assistance level down compared to the BMC. By the way, if you use the phone app, you can customise the levels of assistance as well as the acceleration and power cut off delay. so if you don't like Orbea's preset options, you can set up your own.
A road bike is the best birthday gift a person dreams to get. I deeply regret selling my old bike and I am in awe to get back to the road. I am praying to God day and night to help me get back to the road. I chose black and aqua as colours for the bike. Good luck to all participants
Man, the matte gold looks stunning. Obviously it is not cheap, but what's interesting is you can get a bike with dura ace group set for ~10k... Which is on par / cheaper than many bikes with similar group set, but you are also getting emotor and battery...
Top spec, in some kind of purple and pink for my 11 year old daughter. It's SO difficult to find/get a child's size bike on any budget, and I'm always dropping her no matter what when we ride together, because she's currently on a Specilaized HotRock set up as much as it can be for the road. A new wheelset is next, so we can do disc/ more gear options.
Bright Green and Blue for this guy. Also went with 11/34 cassette and 30mm tires since the country roads around home are usually in pretty rough shape. Best of luck to everyone entering.
Something with a splash of a bright colour. I wouldn't take it as far as Connor's Orbea though. My current bike is a dark blue with bright orange parts.
Copper Orange with Gold Decals....or better still no decals, just all over orange lovelyness. If buying myself, I would be down at the alloy end with Tiagra or 105. Happy to win the top spec though!
Oh my god! Most probably GRX either in the matt gold all over with the black lettering or Matt black with gold lettering! I love, love, love it 😍. I’ll keep my fingers crossed 🤞

So, I had a comment earlier that was shot down, sort of, by Si, bc people get “fiunny” about Strava segments (original video about different rules for competitive vs non-competitive gravel rides. Episode 523). The argument against my comment seems moot considering the proliferation of e-bikes. Have E-bikes made Strava obsolete with regard to KOMS?
Thanks for the review. Both versions look amazing. As an Heavy rider I would for the Alloy Gravel setup. As for colour, Black and Orange digital camo paint scheme would be my choice. It's all about having fun and getting out on a bike.
Thanks for the in-depth overview of the new Orbea Gain M10i e-road bike, Alex! It's great to see the updates to both the carbon and alloy models, especially the improved geometry and battery life. The different assistance settings also seem very useful for different riding scenarios. I'm excited about the giveaway and can't wait to see who wins their own Orbea Gain! Keep up the great work, GCN Tech!

Really nice bike, but I really don't understand why mahle (as well as orbea and other manufacturers) stick with rear motor hubs for e-bikes. I haven't tried them, but to me, central motor hubs look superior for the feeling and efficiency.
Bad idea. If you have any issues at all, Orbea won't help you. They have some of the worst customer service in the industry. Unfortunate because their bikes look and ride great if nothing goes wrong with your bike but you won't know until it happens. No issue with buying a used Orbea because you're not getting a warranty anyway but I'd never buy a new one. This is coming from someone that's run warranties, not someone with one bad experience as a customer
Would love to know what country has 155 lbs or 70 kg rider as the average. I think Orbea living in a fantasy world with these numbers. Why have Dura Ace on an E bike? Baffles me why you would waste the money on either on an 11.5kg bike.

Only weak riders need lots of gears 😁
And light groupsets!
Yeah, that seems like a waste of money. An ebike ought be specced with the new CUES system or GRX.
