    I have the Hercules nibbler and it is the only nibbler I have ever used, but it works very well and I could definitely recommend it to anybody

      Nice! I want to say the first one I ever used was a Malco pneumatic...I was in college at the time and liked it well enough to buy the CP version (CP being Central and not Chicago, lol) since it was all I could afford. I don't think they see much lime light outside of sheet metal stuff, but I was using them for patch panels on trunk/floor pans...really handy. I wasn't sure if battery powered would be the ticket, but I'm glad to hear it has served you well...I'm not sure I have ever seen it on sale, so that tells me HF must be proud of it. Hopefully I can bring it in at some point.

    Nice job once again on the nephews birthday presents.
    i just recently gave one of my nephews some stahlwille pilers among some other stuff, he is only 6 but has more tools than most fully grown adults lol

      Gotta start 'em young! You never know, that could turn into something that he is just fiddling around with that turns into questions and a new path of interest. Or, he could just be super stocked when you are over, lol. Either way, it is still a win! I really do think Stahlwille/VBW are a little underrated.

      @@lonestarmopars I think they're the most comfortable comfort grips I've experienced but I don't have any NWS. Oh he's already got power tools including his own lawn mower haha, he's got a big toolbox in his room too.

      NWS are pretty unique...I think the Stahlwille are softer than the NWS SciFi. Sounds like you've got him set up well!

    I agree with your nephew on the green, it’s gotta be darker. The lighter greens are just annoying lmao. I don’t know how else to explain it😂

      @lonestarmopars  3 дня назад

      Haha, he will be happy to hear that. It isn't something most people would think of, "green is green" but I sort of view it the same with Gearwrench...yeah, that is "orange" but it isn't "orange-orange" lol. I can roll with either, but I do kind of lean towards darker. There is almost a three tier color pallet...hi-vis green, then a sort of spring green, and then dark green.

    I tried to start buying my nephews tools and spend a decent amount 1 christmas. A few weeks later i went to their house and all the tools were scattered on the garage floor. No their fault their father doesnt take care of things either so wasnt going to win that battle. Hope its better 4 you lol

      That is nice of you...it could 100% be their dad behind it all. Sad thing is, a lot of those habits can transfer over. Hopefully you can intervene and get them going your direction. If nothing else, you could slowly build up essentials via huge sales and then have it all at your place...then when they either hit 16, college, or post-college you can turn it into the starter set. Once they get interested in driving, they usually come around a bit.

      Shipping is expensive. You can still get to the border and just walk in...govt might even give you a new phone and debit card that refills every month for HF purchases, lol. I've wanted to get a German tool trolley and the horror stories I hear are they never arrive in good shape. You might actually be able to make a good living safeguarding the trolley boxes on Atlantic voyages, lol.
