Unfortunately, for it to become mainstream, something needs to break big time (e.g. the money system or economy), because companies only change if they see a necessity from their point of view. Right now, world wide payments are slow and expensive, but why would the Execs care if they don't have any economic pressure (e.g. they make good money)? Only very few people (and therefore companies) are super innovative. Most are complacent until a crisis arises. What that means for our bags is that they will probably go down massively in such an event, but then it may be seen as a savior and go up massively?! To make a prediction, we are going to have all of us crypto enthusiasts do one more small rally in the hopes that the bull run will come, but retail won't get burned /involved again. However, the continued bad macro news will slowly bleed us out and most will capitulate. Then things get really bad and crypto might be taken more serious -> adoption, main stream investor interest. @@miggy2002 I see. I wasn't around then. I guess as long as crypto isn't mainstream, most of it will remain speculation. Unfortunately, for it to become mainstream, something needs to break big time (e.g. the money system or economy), because companies only change if they see a necessity from their point of view. Right now, world wide payments are slow and expensive, but why would the Execs care if they don't have any economic pressure (e.g. they make good money)? Only very few people (and therefore companies) are super innovative. Most are complacent until a crisis arises. What that means for our bags is that they will probably go down massively in such an event, but then it may be seen as a savior and go up massively?!
To make a prediction, we are going to have all of us crypto enthusiasts do one more small rally in the hopes that the bull run will come, but retail won't get burned /involved again. However, the continued bad macro news will slowly bleed us out and most will capitulate. Then things get really bad and crypto might be taken more serious -> adoption, main stream investor interest.
I hope I am wrong, because it will be hard to hold full bags for so long (e.g. 2-3 years).

Love Miles mindset. One thing I have learned about the crypto market is that it is very very manipulated. It will not let investors know when it go up or down. It will always do the opposite what investors think it might do... If investors can figure out what the market is going to do, companies will go bankruptcy....
