The Big Front Seat is worth every penny especially for longer flights. You will easily pay 3X for a round trip first class ticket on any major competitor airline. The Big Front Seat is a secret gem in modern travel.

Why is it that people clap when you land in a plane? I mean I get it when we used to land in the 60s and 70s because you didn’t know if your plane was actually going to land or crash land! Anyway, thank you for a great review. Probably not gonna fly Spirit because I always fly with AA and my miles but it’s always good to know❤️👍✈️

I tried the big front seat on Spirit a few years ago from Kansas City to Las Vegas and back. It was totally worth it. It's nearly a domestic first class seat for the price of economy class, and it was still considerably cheaper than any other airline. No other US carrier really offers anything else that's comparable.
Everytime I go to Puerto Rico we applaud! We Puerto Ricans are grateful people. It is from our upbringing. We just like to make the crew feel good about their work. Plus, now that I work on the engines for some of these planes, especially the A320s Spirit has, I feel like people are clapping to me as well a little lol
Me too. You get extra legroom, you are close to a lavatory, and you are more likely to be the first one off the plane. The only downside is that there is no guarantee that you will get a tray table (I know Southwest's Boeing 737-700 planes do not have tray tables in their bulkhead seats).
He even said spirit doesn't advertise something that it's not, it's literally a bigger seat that's it. What is there to complain about? If you don't want to upgrade or fly spirit then just don't, they do a very good job of telling you what you're getting for your money.
I get the general fares are cheap and I'm not knocking their policies at all, but that latrine was disgusting. There is absolutely no excuse for it being in that condition.
Spirit is successful because it's cheap, period. Of course you must be prepared for some "entertainment" from the "Walmart and/or Greyhound crowd" that frequently is on board. 🤣🤣🤣 "The Big Seat" looks like a good deal and the best choice for making the flight much more comfortable and tolerable.

i flown spirit 2 times not a great experience but I love their planes and livery obviously jetBlue is way better
